Exactly. And I can definitely see how that would cause "discord" in the family. Harry being born into it, he seemed to believe he would always have security and so would his family. Especially after what happened to his mother.
It is kind of a dick move by his dad. It's not like the royal family doesn't have enough money to privately fund security for them.

Ohhh, this does make me wonder what is going to happen with the Royal Christmas plans. Will Charles just keep on with the walk to church and everything? The queen has been in charge for so long, I have no clue what was done out of precedent and what was done just because that’s how she liked it

Catching up from something mentioned earlier re- money. I was reading yesterday that it’ll take a couple months to get bills ready to circulate and out. Then it said it could take 2 years or more to have the majority of new coins out in regular use - especially since people often save them / have them sitting around for a while and they last a whole lot longer in general. I found a coin with King George on it just a couple years ago out in regular circulation.

But Sandringham was a personal residence of the queen’s rather than a royal residence, so we don’t know who she left it to or if Charles would want to move it to somewhere else. Where does he have all the squirrels?
