How far along are you? 25w2d
Appointments coming up? Had one today. Glucose test and rhogam scheduled for 8/1 and then ultrasound on 8/11.
How are you feeling? Good. Heartburn still occasionally.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? I'm still measuring two weeks ahead, so that's what prompted the growth u/s to be scheduled. Also, I'm super pissed that they scheduled the glucose test at the hospital on the day I go for the rhogam. That'll be like a 3 hour hospital visit.
QOTW: What's one food you couldn't live without? Pizza

How far along are you? 25+2
Appointments coming up? Nothing until August unless doc calls me about test results. My hemoglobin and hematocrit were sitting right on the anemia threshold for pregnant women, but this is not shocking to me since I was diagnosed with anemia 12 years ago. It was managed with iron pills until I was pregnant with DD and then it miraculously disappeared (?) so I've been assuming it would come back at some point. Neither one was low enough to cause any issues, so I suspect he won't call and will just mention it at my next appointment.
How are you feeling? Really out of breath when lying on my back. I need to get another pillow, I think. Lots of BH lately too, which I am not prepared for. They're not strong, but it's noticeable. Lots of movement!
QOTW: What's one food you couldn't live without? CARBS. Specifically bread and pasta.

How far along are you? 24w6d Appointments coming up? Wednesday, just regular check up and will get the paperwork for the glucose test. Here we have to go to a lab to do it which kind of sucks, would be nicer to be able to do it at the MW's office. How are you feeling? Still good. Still having the sore/irritated feeling at the top of my belly, I feel like I will probably have separated abs after this! I've been feeling more tired again lately, but also tossing and turning more at night. I wake up, flip, yank the sheet back from DH and fall right back asleep though! Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Nope. Expecting I might be at the 20lbs gained mark by my appt this week though QOTW: What's one food you couldn't live without? I agree with snuff9861, carbs in general!

How far along are you? 25+3
Appointments coming up? I'll do the glucose test next week, but won't have any appointments until the middle of August. That will be my last monthly before I move to every 2 weeks. Time is going so fast.
How are you feeling? Ok, heartburn after every meal and when I lay down.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Not really.
QOTW: What's one food you couldn't live without? +1 to loving carbs. I love potatoes, especially in the form of french fries and potato chips.

grumpycat, yay for an easy pregnancy! laurensc927, my LO gets super active at night when I'm laying down too. It kept me up the other night! quinn, enjoy every 4 week appointments! I had that gap between 18 and 22 weeks, but I'm back to every 2-3 weeks now. doxiemama, I have no hospital advice, but GL if you end up switching. What's your reason for wanting to switch? snuff9861, ugh. Heartburn. I feel ya. spacecadet, GL with your glucose test! Mine is the same day. misskilljoy, FX the dr isn't super concerned with the results. blabbermouth, I'm at 19lbs according to my OB's scale this morning, so I'm right there with you. How far along are you? 23+2
Appointments coming up? A week from today, OB check and getting my GTT drink.
How are you feeling? I feel like I kind of hit my wall this week. My belly had a big growth spurt and ultimately I've slowed down a bunch. I'm starting to get uncomfortable more often. And this kid never.stops.moving. Holy crap. My hormones are completely out of control too. Hot mess express is officially pulling into the station. Choo choo.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? I'm meeting with a doula next week. I think we'll click based on our phone conversation, so I'm hoping we do and I can get this wrapped up and get myself a step closer to a VBAC.
QOTW: What's one food you couldn't live without? Pizza. Or pasta. But probably pizza.

doxiemama , I have no hospital advice, but GL if you end up switching. What's your reason for wanting to switch? Kind of a long story... I have the same OB as I used for my son, but she switched hospitals shortly after I delivered. I really like her but I also really liked my birth experience at a large hospital. She's part of a larger practice so I still have the option to deliver at the same hospital as the first time, which is what I decided on. But now I'm thinking it might be better to use the hospital closer to home, so that I can possibly have my OB be there for delivery if the schedule works out right, and also so my H can run home to spend some time with our son and take the burden off of whoever is caring for him.

bethkate , blabbermouth , I'm hoovering around 18-19lbs up at this point. And I always weigh a few pounds more on my OB's scale so I'm not looking forward to being weighed next week. Solidarity hug. I'm up 20 lbs too at 24 weeks. Womp womp. I gained 39 with my last pregnancy so I just keep reminding myself this is what my body does to grow a baby. Doesn't make it any easier to see the numbers keep going up though.

I try to remind myself that my body needs this to support the pregnancy, but it's still hard.

Oh, and cnf, I never really thought about a doula this time, but I think that if there's a next time, I would probably go that route too! I've met two lately and they haven't even been super hippie-ish, so that seems good!

I just typed out my update for my other bmb. Please forgive it not being in format, but I wanted to share here too.
TW: high risk pregnancy
My 24 week appointment is coming up tomorrow. We will have another ultrasound and unless baby was hiding the third vessel be referred to a MFM. I'm having all the feels about tomorrow and growing anxious just to see what the steps are going forward. At this point everything is preventive/uncertain. However, all the worse case scenarios and what ifs that come with a 2 vessel cord still have to be ruled out. I'm terrified of possible bad news and just being switched over to a new doctor from mine that I love is a little overwhelming. Ultimately, it's what is best for baby though.
On top of all that, we have had planned for a couple of months to leave thursday to head to new hampshire to visit sil, bil, their new baby, and my inlaws are there. It's just hard for me. I'm very excited for all them but don't know if I can take swooning over a new baby right now with the health of my baby uncertain. We may or may not go depending on when we get in to the MFM and my emotions after tomorrow. Mil and sil are being kind of pushy about the situation and trying to really encourage us into coming. I had talked about leaving dd here as a break for myself and dh. It's just a long weekend but they didn't like that idea and begged us to see her.
Anyways, I will have updates tomorrow and may make a thread then to keep you all updated/vent. Thoughts, prayers, good vibes for a decent night sleep for me tonight and getting answers as dh and I go to the appointment tomorrow are appreciated.

catmom88, so many positive thoughts being sent your way. Definitely update us tomorrow. I don't blame you for not feeling up to swooning over a new baby. ((Hugs)) As far as switching doctors, will you not be seeing your ob anymore at all? I think most people who see an MFM see him/her in addition to the ob.

Good luck tomorrow catmom88. Would it be an option to send your husband with your daughter to visit the ILs and let you stay at home if you're not feeling up for the trip?

I started with a BMI of 31 so I'm only supposed to gain 10-15 lbs total. I've gained 10, so... if I gain a pound a week between now and giving birth, whoops.

How far along are you? 25 w today
Appointments coming up? None this week but two next week
How are you feeling? Pretty good! My snoogle comes today- I've been having some back pain during the night. It's harder for me to get up off the floor after playing/reading.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? The girls continue to be wiggle worms at every US.
QOTW: What's one food you couldn't live without? I thought it was cheese, but before this pregnancy, I was doing Whole30 and was ok without dairy. This pregnancy cheeseburgers have been my go-to.
