So who's seen it yet or will be seeing it soon?
I saw it yesterday and I'm dying to discuss.

Pineapple wine seltzer mixes very well with a white cherry icee.
And that’s me trying not to be super awkward while I sit here by myself. I think when I went to Black Widow it was a Sunday so there were less people. But I’m trying not to feel awkward even though I’m feeling so awkward 😂😂

Best part by far was the trippy musical fight. So well done and very fun to watch and listen to.

Finally saw it! Am I the only one who was disappointed? I didn’t know it was going to have a horror movie type theme but it felt very stiff to me. They didn’t really develop the characters and I don’t feel an emotional attachment to anyone. I was sad to see Wanda reduced to a one dimensional villain after everything she went through. If there are so many universes, why didn’t she find one where the kids didn’t have a mom or even try to find Vision? I enjoyed the Illuminati (Captain Carter!!!) but their deaths seemed too easy. Captain Marvel can fly through and demolish starships unscathed but a falling statue killed her? I have a lot of other nit picky complaints but I’ll spare you all.
So far I have not been that impressed with the movies since End Game (which is admittedly hard to top). I feel like Marvel peaked. Maybe everything since is setting up something great. I hope so anyway. I enjoyed Spider Man No Way Home and I’m excited for Thor Love and Thunder.

My thing was that Wanda had this whole arc about realizing what she had done to Westview, being so sorry for what she had done, and then poof, within minutes of the movie starting, she was willing to kill a kid for her powers. I would have liked to see some kind of internal struggle. I know the movie struggled after covid changed the release date and there were rewrites, but it just seemed like she needed a bridge to evil that she didn't get. She got a jump instead of a bridge.

While I agree we could have gotten more background in her progress from the end of WandaVision to this, but I disagree that she was one dimensional. I’d say her grief made her very complex. There are plenty of villains in these stories that are driven by grief from something in their past.

I wouldn’t say I was disappointed, but I wasn’t expecting this one to be very good and it lived up to my expectations. I guess the Doctor Strange movies just aren’t my thing, although I love the character himself and how Benedict plays him. I have also been unimpressed with Phase 4 in general, with a few exceptions. I am looking forward to Thor 4.

Admin edit to remove link First, why do you have a spam link in your post? Second, I believe we did get at least a little peek into her darkness at the credits scene in the last episode where she was sitting and reading the Dark Hold book. Not much, but something anyway that showed she was getting into bad stuff. I'm less bothered by the descent into madness and dark witchcraft than everyone else though, I guess.
