Sending Jedi is such a weird move. They are supposed to be apolitical. True. But Jedi and sith are the best part of the series Oh for sure. But still a weird political flex from the chancellor. It'd be like sending Secret Service agents to negotiate with a head of state. |

Trade confederation are such gullible dummies. The better move would have been to make pointless negotiations that get nowhere. While still quietly planning their invasion. But the movie would have been a lot more boring that way. |

Queen amidala’s outfits were a choice but I don’t hate it. I so wanted to dress up like her when this first came out. Her royal costumes are inspired by the Mongolain Queen Genepil. Also makes it real easy for her to have a body double. With all the makeup and headdresses, people will just assume. |

The CGI is rather obvious in some of these scenes, but overall it holds up okay.

Yeah, the special effects are fine. In some ways more subtle than current technology.
