I forget how they were able to track him after the wedding. FFSC: I've only read the books once. I was going to wait till my son was ready to read them, to read them again. (I think I've shared that before) Once the ministry fell, they made the word "Voldemort" a Taboo Curse. That's how the Death Eaters found them so quickly. |

I forget how they were able to track him after the wedding. FFSC: I've only read the books once. I was going to wait till my son was ready to read them, to read them again. (I think I've shared that before) I can't remember if Ron explains it when he comes back or not. I know he does in the book. They put a trace on the word/name "Voldemort" because pretty much everyone except Harry calls him You-Know-Who (or the Dark Lord if they are a Death Eater). I also can't remember if they're as careful about it in the movie, but Harry does call him You-Know-Who in the book because it makes Ron feel better before he leaves and then he keeps at it after Ron is gone out of habit. ETA: The three of them have no idea that's how they were tracked after the wedding until much later. Ron finds out when he was on his own after leaving the other two. He's the one who tells Harry and Hermione when he comes back. ETA#2: Once again, I'm not watching. Just chatting from memory. LOL I should have kept reading. |
