squeak, we use Dropps for both laundry and the dishwasher and like them both. DH is picky about both of those things and he'd happily use all the chemicals to get the results that he wants. This is good too know. S would prefer to go away from the Tide powder we currently use. The 7th Generation liquid made him break out (and he does not have sensitive skin). We tried some other "natural" powders but they were not cleaning well and the girls' clothes ended up looking really dingy. He got some weird laundry ball things with ceramic beads in them, but I am not convinced that they do anything. ...So, I went back to Tide. I also hate our Kenmore HE washer. I keep hoping it'll crap out so I can replace it.

Our washing machine at home doesn't have one of these, but our washing machine at the cannery has a filter/drain thing on the front that needs to be cleaned periodically. I had no idea until an employee pointed it out. It was gross.

Ok. I got some bumpkins bags. They aren’t cloth. I was surprised. But maybe they will work better than the other kinds I’d had. Or at least they will last 50x longer than plastic.

The ones I recc? I love them. 1) they’re PUL, and mine have held up very well. 2) they have zippers, which I prefer over hook and loop 3) they don’t keep things perfectly airtight but it’s certainly good enough for a day’s snacks - even pirates booty comes home crisp. I just bought two more to add to my rotation. I like the sandwich size, the snack size doesn’t hold enough for snacks for my voracious eaters. I hope they work! If they don’t, I’ll buy them off you. Lol.
