I wear leggings or skinny jeans 80% of the time when out in public ( in Pants Season anyway). I will wear them forever and I don't care if I'm outdated. What is pants season? Only when the weather drops below 50 and sunny. In my life.

How does this have six peens? Do you all mean JELLY isn’t good or PRESERVED FRUIT SPREADS aren’t good? I make a mean crabapple jelly. And I made a zillion half pints of homemade Blackberry jelly and it is the most delicious thing. I usually make jam but blackberry seeds are intense. Wtf. Oh I meant specifically jelly as in, Smuckers Jelly. I love Smuckers Preserves, and their jam is fine too. Fruit spreads without at least little chunks of fruit are not my thing. Too gelatinous or something.

Mostly, I find them way too sweet to be enjoyable. I have had one homemade blackberry jam(preserve?) that wasn't bad. I'd buy a jar from you to try. Oh like you don't enjoy any fruit spreads?! This is a wild opinion. WILD.

I grew up on jam. Jelly just lacks texture and body. I need fruity bits. Loved for “fruit bits” 🤣

This has rocked my world, to be honest, and I need some more information. I'm going to start asking random people if they like fruit spreads. Maybe there are more of you than I thought. I thought it was a universally important staple food item that everyone liked in some form.

I love a good PB-only sandwich, though. Never in a donut or on a spoon. I've occasionally (once a year?) eaten it very lightly spread on toast, but again, I generally find it to be too sweet. Oh! I DO love mapleme 's raspberry thumbprint cookies. So, there's that exception to my rule. 🤷

Also, you're welcome for providing the most unpopular UO of the day. Sorry (not sorry) it was about food.

rugger, you should try making your own! It's really not that intimidating lol, and I regularly cut the sugar by half when I make it. Otherwise definitely too sweet. And most jams definitely benefit from a hit of an acid (lemon or lime juice) to balance it out. By not that intimidating I mean before I made it I thought it was a process where you boiled, blended, strained, boiled again, added things, jarred, boiled the jars... definitely not lol. I made it much more complicated in my head ^^; which is funny considering that my mom regularly made jam when I was young.

I’m joining rigger on the fruity-spread-hater bench.
I don’t like PB&J.. not any part of it.
No to jelly donuts.
No to jelly toast, bagels, etc.

I don’t like filled donuts.
It’s all about filling to donut for me. And anytime I have a filled donut there is a ton in the middle.
I guess I just want a donut sandwich. Jelly/jam spread evenly to all parts of the donut.

That reminds me that my MIL used to send us homemade quince jelly every year but she didn't add any lemon juice and it was inedible for that reason.

My SN actually has origins that are not sandwich-related.

Might not be unpopular but I hate when potential clients ask your hourly rate instead of being up front with what their budget is. “Pay commensurate with experience” is a load of crock. Jobs should be required to list the pay range.

I am not exaggerating when I say I could eat jars upon jars of homemade strawberry jam, just with a spoon. I find it to be one of the most delicious foods. It is even better on some homemade bread.

Jam on biscuits, jam on toast, Jam is the thing that I like most. Jam is sticky, jam's a treat— Raspberry, strawberry, gooseberry, I'm very FOND… OF… JAM!

C is on your bench. She regularly asks for bowls of jam. And her personal invention of jam on ritz crackers is THE MOST AMAZING THING EVER THAT EVERYONE SHOULD TRY. She is intensely on the jam train.

And that made me giggle. But I’m #teammilano - I personally like a chunky berry fruit spread in my unsweetened yogurt.

If you haven't yet, try it with a tiny bit of cheese. I personally like brie, but cheddar does the job. The sweet salty creamy thing is just *chefs kiss*

Peanut butter and banana sandwiches are far superior to peanut butter and jam. M is on your bench. She has that for lunch when she doesn't like the school option.
