My niece is headed to Germany for a year so I'm taking her to the airport via train to Chicago. I've never been before so it is a good excuse for a new experience.

Cleaning like crazy. My dad is giving us his old living room furniture set, so I'm making it open for FIL to take our old couch. I'm so annoyed with all the clutter we have.

Continuing our basement reno today. It's been fun keeping the 19th month old away from all the random nails and screws inn the floor. I was desperate enough to bring the 2 kids to the grocery store by myself.

We went to a garden party/fundraiser thing last night. 6-10 pm and they didn't serve dinner and didn't have enough appetizers/passed food to feed everyone! So recovering from a wine headache today. I have a sinus infection too so pretty much feel like I'm dying.

Sitting on a plane waiting to take off for Dallas for a work conference. I'm missing out on 4 of "my" days with DD (which I'm very bummed about) but it's a great conference so I'm looking forward to it.
