I have nothing clever to say but want to start randomness so I can give my N/T scan update.
ETA that should say randoms not randomness. I'm convinced my autocorrect is a real entity and it's trying to ruin my life.

Just got back from my N/T. God bless 8 am appts! A bit of an AW but I hope you'll indulge me. All is well! I can't believe it. Like benandjerrys said yesterday it's starting to feel real. I'm very relieved and feel lucky that today went the way that it did. I'm surprised I never did the n/t with my boys. I was impressed by all the things they checked for. I thought it was just the neck and nasal bone because I'm uneducated but he went over so many things like the brain developing as they'd expect, the spine, stomach, bladder, blood flow, placenta and cord, cervical length etc. Its nice to know things are on track, at least at this point, after my last experience. 🤞It stays this way.

That's great news rebeccabunch,! I'm kind of wondering when it will feel real to me. I had an appointment yesterday and they found the heartbeat on the Doppler easily. Maybe the anatomy scan on 8/8? Who knows. Maybe when I feel movement in the next few weeks. So I have been looking online for what I want for lunch for the past half hour. I still haven't decided. It may be a game time decision today.

I am exhausted. I have been up since 1:15. It's just insomnia and I felt like it was too hot even though MH said it was comfortable in our room. G is with her teacher now. I am waiting for MH to get home on his break from work. I think I need to get out of the house. Maybe we will go out for lunch.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yes, I've done the 20 week A/S with my boys. I've just never done the 12 week N/T. I was surprised at all the things they could check on development wise at 12 weeks.

Can I just say how wonderful it felt to eat last night? Like, I can't remember what its been like to feel comfortably full or even a decent meal in the last few weeks because of being sick all the time. I regretted it some this am but man, it felt so good to just eat last night. Mind you, I had the weirdest combo. A homemade farm fresh caprice salad, baba ganoush with naan bread, and lemonade. such a weird combo! But man, so yummy. Apparently this child is turning me into a vegetarian....

Well now I want Greek food for dinner. I'm having coffee today for the first time since I started my fertility meds. Wife had a work thing and didn't get in until 3am and then DS woke up at 5:30. I got a small French vanilla hot coffee from Dunkin and it tastes glorious. I'm really nursing it. My inlaws will be here a week form today so that means vacation is a week from Saturday. Can. Not. Wait.

Mine was not quite that detailed (their machine couldn't see kidneys, blood flow, etc.) but they checked the nasal bone, NT, brain development (made sure it was divided into two halves), checked all limbs and CTR length. Mine was yesterday and all came back "normal" so that was a huge relief. We are now waiting for the Panorama test results which will be about 2 weeks. We didn't do this scan with Ava so we don't know if her issues would have showed up or not. She was chromosomally normal and no major heart defects so it might not have shown up.

The 13 month old's eyes are basically rolling back in his head he's so tired. But will he nap? No. Instead, when I put him in his crib he screams like I'm trying to murder him. I need a nap too, kid. Swim lessons are tiring!

@hijamie yum D&D coffee is my favorite! Unfortunately I live in Starbucks capital now! 🙁 snowyowl will he sleep with you? When I am desperate for a nap we just get in bed together and call it a day! I know it's not a great nap but it's better than nothing! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

pippiann He used to! DH is home with him during the day during the school year and they napped together every day. But at some point he started associating our bed with playtime and now it just makes him wild. He's finally drifted off in my lap. I'm just relaxing for a minute before I move him. The good news is, once he's out, it's quite hard to wake him and moving him to the crib is easy.

While it doesn't clear for everything, it's as good of a step in the right direction that is possible at this point. Keep that in mind! I'm really happy for you. ETA I can't do anything right. I meant to quote you too April!

I feel like a broken record here but I'm gonna go ahead and say it again just because. How in the world do 2 adults a toddler and a dog create so much laundry and have the ability to make it look like a tornado has gone through the house in two days?!?!?! I'm a real neat freak and am finally considering just giving up and giving in. I hope I can get my clean house back in 20 years.
In other news, my nausea has fiercely returned. Not cool body, not cool.

Currently I am in sheet washing hell because my 2 year old peed through her pull-up then came and laid in bed with me and then my 1 year old wet through her diaper too. 3 beds to wash. Ughhhhh. Oh this reminds me I need to wash the sheets. Ugh. Also need to wash all the sheets. I hate cleaning. The other night DS moved the ottoman so he could "vacuum" underneath it, and it was so bad. The child was trying to give me a hint. We are a few days away from "vacation" - volunteering through our church in the mountains for a week. We planned this before I got pregnant, and now I'm definitely less excited about a week without A/C and doing work outdoors... but no actual work, which is a huge plus!! No cell service and spotty wifi, which is a huge minus. DS is coming with us but will have some kid stuff to do while we're busy. Right now I'm trying to find a tankini or a rashguard to cover up my burrito belly... thinking a rashguard bc I'm super fair, but are they uncomfortable? I'm not feeling great about anything super tight right now! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I haven't been around in a while, so hi! It's ridiculously hot here this week. Five days in a row of 100+ temps. Which means we're hanging out at home in the a/c. DS is sleeping and I'm about to start reading 'Into the Water' by Paula Hawkins. Same author as 'Girl on the Train'.
