I hear nothing locally about case numbers here, but when Mh mentioned to one of his PT coworkers what hospital I work at, PT goes…”oh yeah, I heard about that place. They are full of Covid patients and are dealing with staff shortages.” 😑

The school has a weekly dashboard of cases in staff and students and number of quarantines. The former math teacher in me always wonders how much time has to pass before I could have used that data for a class project.

I’m so sorry nam2013. Deep breaths and one day at a time. I can’t believe we are here again. Sometimes I want to scream into the void about it all. nam2013 is it possible that you could ever go to another country and get your kids vaxxed?

I had a good day today. Got a ton done at work despite a bunch of assignments coming back to me early. Tonight we had a really fun class at TKD. One of those workouts that doesn't feel like you're exercising.

I hear the same thing here about our local Children's Hospital, but then you also hear that there are a small number of patients in the hospital with Covid. Where do these rumors start?

I almost think because the “waves”are so bad that the numbers now don’t seem as bad so they don’t get the attention but yet we still have a lot of hospitalizations, which to me is as bad because then people there for non Covid emergencies may not get the proper care they need and the risk of death is higher for those cases. It all just sucks. ETA: holy run on sentence.
