I don't even remember at this point when this project started - early 2017 or 2018? But it's a wrap (I hope).

lfig your H scuba dives. Any good gift ideas related to it? My moms birthday is next weekend and that's her new thing. She got certified and is going diving in January. Does she have her own gear or rent? If she has her own gear, a bag with holes in it for holding her gear that can drain. If she rents gear, then maybe a nice dry bag for her personal belongings when she goes out on dives. A microfiber towel- they are lightweight and quick drying and perfect to take on dive trips because of that rather than a beach towel. It’s an expensive sport, so gift cards to dive shops or websites is also always good. MH likes gift cards to diversdirect.com because his birthday is 2 days before Christmas and when he’s wanting something pricey he just asked for gift cards there for both Xmas and birthday to put towards whatever. Weather it be new fins, mask, wetsuit, some other piece of equipment.

Glad your mom is being released. klong11 Does she have an at home BP monitor? May be a good idea if she doesn’t have one already.

Yes, she's been monitoring BP for awhile now and was already on meds for high BP. Apparently her Dr also prescribed her 2 meds for the exact same thing. She says there was a third, but she stopped taking it awhile back because she didn't like the way it made her feel. What kind of doctor overlaps meds like that?

Last night Cadence's troop hosted a movie night in honor of Juliette Low's bday(founder of gs). So Cadence was basically going from 7:30am-almost 11 last night. I don't know what time she woke up this morning, but she let me sleep until 9.
Now she's at Ballet Austin learning the Bon Bon dance. She did it last year via Zoom and hated it, but this year is live with some of her friends, so she was excited. So I'm just sitting in Starbucks waiting until I need to walk over and get her.
I feel like a weight has been lifted now that I know my mom is back home and she can relax back into her life. We'll see her for Thanksgiving. Cadence face timed with her this morning and it made them both so happy to see each other.

What does an "infestation" qualify as? When we had our dryer vents cleaned the guy left...with the garage door into the house open. For HOURS. We started hearing some noise shortly after that and have caught a few but mh is upping his game with real traps instead of sticky ones.

There was a stain on the ceiling of the garage My dad thought there was a leak. Took it down and tons of mouse poop fell out. ::shudder::

On a slightly brighter note, our mouse problem was bad enough a couple years ago that we were seeing evidence of mice on the first floor (we were trying to get rid of them ourselves when we knew they were in the basement). We have the pest control people out every September or October to rebait our traps and the only sign of them these days is in the garage. It's the best $300 we spend each year.

wineallthetime your dog doesn’t go after them? My dog would eat DD’s mice in a heartbeat if she had a chance. DH caught my dog running around the yard with a squirrel in her mouth last week. He yelled and she dropped it and it ran away. She was so proud, been trying for years to catch one.

My period showed up 6 days early. I have heard females living together sync up but this is ridiculous. Oh lordy. I bet that first moon time has extra estrogen it shoots out into the atmosphere. Godspeed. P.S. I really, really hope we're not a shared moon time family some day. Three at once would be a bit much. Sending you all the positive future vibes trtlcrzy. Lol, thanks. I honestly can’t remember growing up if my sisters and I synced periods or not.

Hey guys. The wedding is finally done! It got real cold and snowed on Thursday and Friday. Friday morning we met at a bagel place for brunch and then got our nails done. I ran to target afterwards to pick up tights for the girls and a dress shirt for DH. After I got home I had to pack and get everything ready for Saturday. We went to the church for the rehearsal, pizza ranch for the rehearsal dinner, then the bridal party went to the hotel where the reception was being held to get some things ready. Then to the bride’s parents’ house where we spent the night. They live right down the street from the church, so it was easier to get ready there. The big problem that happened was that I forgot to pack my meds, including my allergy meds. I normally take Zyrtec but her mom only had alavert and I figured that would work fine. Turns out that wasn’t the case because my allergies came raging and I woke up super congested, sneezing and my eyes were itchy and puffy. I took some Sudafed and used her grandma’s allergy eye drops and made it through the day. Really the worst timing for that to happen. She hired a couple girls to come to the house to do hair and makeup. Over all things went really well and I didn’t want to punch anyone 😂. I got very drunk at the reception and was feeling nauseous on the way home but made it to bed and didn’t throw up. Oh also yesterday when DH came home between the wedding and reception (catholic wedding so the wedding was at 1 but the reception didn’t start till 5) the spring on the garage door broke and so now we have to get that fixed. I hope my shitty luck turns around soon.
As for today, I didn’t really sleep in because kids. Dh had a soccer game at 8 and took my van so I couldn’t go to the gift opening. His truck was stuck in the garage. I took a shower that felt amazing because I had so much product in my hair. I legit couldn’t run my fingers through it. Then my boss sent out a text asking for someone to work because the afternoon person called in sick. I wasn’t going to do it but then someone else said they could do the later half of the shift so I went in from 2-5:30. I got paid time and a half plus an extra $5 an hour so it was worth it. Then we had supper at the ILs as a belated celebration of DH’s bday. I was glad to get home, put on pjs and get into my bed. I will be going to sleep shortly.

If he does chase something he just gets close and stares at it though.
