"Wine people" need to get over the idea that red wine is inherently better than white. Oh gosh is that a thing? That's dumb.

"Wine people" need to get over the idea that red wine is inherently better than white. I just think it tastes better. Unlike its a Pinot Grigio on a hot day.

Hot dogs are not good. And neither is American cheese

Pools are fun. With just my kid. Not other people's rude splashing jumping all over the place kids.

Those grocery cart cover things are dumb. By the time your kid can sit up in a cart seat, they are (generally) capable of handling some germs. They are likely putting everything in their mouths at this point anyway.

buying multiple patterns of carriers/wraps that all basically function the same is a waste of money.
this could be applied to many items...

Pointy eye thing tj I knew you were awesome, but you're exceptionally awesome today. I also hate pools and wterparks and love roller coasters. I like houseplants and have only receive flowers a handful of times in my life, by request.

The bottom of the bagel is better than the top Oh my. ETA: actually, you are right- unless it's one of those bagels with a seedy bottom. Those are the worst and it angers me that they even exist.

In SoCal, American cheese is pretty much Kraft Singles. My mom was so confused by the many varieties of American in philly, where it comes in white and yellow and sharp and flavored. Cooper Sharp is delicious on a sandwich, and there is something comforting about grilled cheese made with American.

There is no point in eating mild cheddar cheese, all cheddar should be sharp or extra sharp or seriously sharp etc.
On a side note, Canadians call it "old cheddar"

I love most cheese, but a sharp cheddar is waaaaay at the bottom of my list. I like many variations of stinky cheeses, so it's not like a need a mild cheese. I just don't like the dry chalkiness of an aged cheddar. I can never admit this in Vermont. I would be chased out of the state.

There is some amazing cheese here. I trade with a few cheesemakers at the farmers market, so we end up with funny situations like the fact that we make mac and cheese for our kids with $26/lb raw milk cheese.
