I watched A California Christmas on Netflix last night. Anyone else seen it? I really liked it! I saw that one last year and enjoyed it! I'll probably rewatch it. So I just realized there is a second one coming out on dec 16! 🙌🏻

Does anyone know how to find Christmas at Castle Hart? I started it but didn’t get to finish it. Thanks!

Or otherwise record an upcoming airing. I started that one last night too, but didn't finish. That Lacey Chabert loves picking the ones set in Europe!

Pizzaslut , I really liked her in Snowed Inn, but I haven't seen Poinsettias for Christmas yet. Tyler Hines was well cast for this, too. I like him without the beard, and I'm usually a beard fan. ETA: I just love that Paul McGillion, who played the dad. He's great.

Second Chance Christmas on Hulu is a complete turd. A lazy schlub of a husband has a second chance at making his wife fall in love with him again after she develops amnesia. He fails to tell her she was about to divorce him among other crucial information. He also didn't realize putting in the slightest effort like slightly picking up their filthy house might help.

I just discovered that many of the hallmark stars made movies this year over on GAC family (is this a new channel). This also appears to be where all the “royal” ones are this year.

Watched Crashing Through the Snow and thoroughly enjoyed it. The actress playing Maggie reminds me of a young Patricia Heaton.
That’s two winners in a row for me for hallmark movies. My H even got into this one, he is such a mush.

I've missed this thread somehow. I enjoyed Love Hard and Single for Christmas. My kids got a kick out of Princess Switch 3. If you've never seen the short series Home for Christmas on Netflix it's an absolute gem. Holiday in the Wild on Netflix is one of my favs. Operation Christmas Drop is pretty good too. My oldest and binged watched the Princess Swap movies when she was in quarantine last week. I especially loved the 3rd one.

We enjoyed the sister swap that aired last night. Looking forward to next week’s “sequel”

The person in charge of Hallmark when they pulled the same sex zola ad and no diversity in their movies left/fired and is now over there. Many Hallmark actors have already said they are waiting to see what he does there first while others Danica in particular have already transitioned to GAC. I have not watched that channel yet.

I can't find it now, but last night I saw a Tweet that said something like:
Business woman Jenna who is falling in love with hometown Chip in the Hallmark movie better check to see where he was on January 6.
I was cackling.

I could not finish Father Christmas is Back. I had taken an edible when I watched it but I feel like it was a bunch of half-thoughts and there was not enough background information. If anyone finished it...did it get better?

I liked Love Hard and loved Single All the Way. I didn't like The Holidate at all.
EtA: I liked A Castle for Christmas just fine until the pacing at the end got so weird. I found it offputting.

If anyone finished it...did it get better? There's a sort of twist at the end that explains some of the glaring plot holes (like how is it the games keeper character - John Cleese - seems to have known the sisters their whole lives yet the estate was the husband's). I loathe Kelsey Grammar but like John Cleese, Carolyn Quentin, and Elizabeth Hurley so I was conflicted through a lot of it. lol Oh and the actress who plays the youngest sister is one Elon Musk's ex-wives, the one who married him twice.

The fact that the estate was the husband's was one of the things that really threw me for a loop. Even the description for the movie talked about the sisters and the dad returning to the "ancestral home" or something. I may be able to suck it up and finish - we'll see

I couldn't stand Holidate. I have a feeling Emma Roberts can't act at all and just is her bitchy self in movies.
