Of course it's ok! Thanks for getting it started!
How far along are you? 24+3
Appointments coming up? Quick OB appointment next Monday. They'll be giving me my orders for the 1 hr glucose and my rhogam shot.
How are you feeling? Good, mostly. I was up a lot last night with heartburn, but it's not a constant issue (yet)
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Nothing too interesting going on, which is good, I guess.
QOTW: What is your favorite time of year? I love the fall. It's kind of fun knowing this lo is due at my favorite time of year.

Appointments coming up? 1 week today, midwife appt
How are you feeling? I'm ok, haven't had any episodes this week which is nice. I've actively stayed away from the heat, which is a trigger. Just tired really, and hungry every 2-3 hours
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Haven't had any!
QOTW: What is your favorite time of year? Winter, I hate summer. Do not do heat well, even when not pregnant!

How far along are you? 24+4
Appointments coming up? Check up on Thursday.
How are you feeling? Mostly good!
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Nothing too interesting. I'm hoping I gained a couple pounds since my last appointment since I lost last time. Usually I'd like to see the scale go backwards lol.
QOTW: What is your favorite time of year? We seem to have more fun in the summer but I'm a fan of fall for the mild weather and holidays.

How far along are you? 21w 5d
Appointments coming up? Anat scan is tomorrow. I have a feeling we won't be staying team green.
How are you feeling? My stomach has been bothering me for a couple of days. I think it's just because I'm in one of my weird cycles where instead of constipation I have diarrhea.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Talk to me tomorrow 😉

How far along are you? 22w4d
Appointments coming up? Check up next week Wednesday.
How are you feeling? Pretty good for the most part. I have been having a weird, intermittent pain in my upper abdomen. It has me a bit freaked out d/t my hx of pre-e but my BP has been fine and I have no other symptoms. Wondering if it could be gallbladder? Or maybe it's just RLP?
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Not really. I see the OB for the first time next week since transferring care.
QOTW: What is your favorite time of year? I love all of Fall and then the transition into Winter/Christmas. Anything from December 26th through Spring can suck it.

pootsen it could just be intestinal pain too. Gallbladder is usually located more toward the right quadrant. Hopefully you feel better soon and it's not pre-e related.

grumpycat, I would also love a Halloween baby. I'd be 37 weeks and some change, but that would still be great for me. I'm actually having some anxiety about Halloween plans and costumes. We usually go pretty big with DIY family costumes. Do I plan for a bump or a baby? What if I can't be there at all? Will I finally get to go on the local cemetery tour this year after years of missing it due to work? Would I be crazy to take over the Halloween play date again this year? I did a 13 Days of Halloween countdown last year on our chalkboard, what if I don't get to finish it? So many unanswered questions.

How far along are you? 22w3d
Appointments coming up? Not for another month or so. 1 hour glucose will be two weeks after that.
How are you feeling? Meh. I haven't been sleeping well this week and my bladder has finally started to be affected by the extra thing growing in my torso.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Baby is a big girl.
QOTW: What is your favorite time of year? October 1-Dec 24. Christmas day is kind of a let down. Thanksgiving and Halloween are tied for my favorite holiday.

I did a 13 Days of Halloween countdown last year on our chalkboard, what if I don't get to finish it? So many unanswered questions. I'll be 39 weeks so I will likely have newborn based on my history. I haven't even thought about costumes yet. I have been thinking about who is going to give out the candy. Last year, we set out a bowl (because we were out with DS) and some shitty little kids came and stole it. I'm thinking about getting a motion activated scary witch or skeleton just to freak the nasty kids out if we decide to leave a bowl out again. I go crazy with Halloween decorating and am going to go nuts as soon as the kids in my cul-de-sac are older. I don't want to do anything too scary ... yet.

I am assuming I will have a baby for Halloween or be on bedrest so I am already planning for MH to take DD out. Or her grandparents. I will not be dressing up. This is devastating for me because I love Halloween.

I'm working a night shift Halloween night currently. I'm going to attempt to switch it because someone needs to stay home and hand out candy with DD and DS needs to go around the cul de sac.

pootsen, what kind of pain? How often? I had my gallbladder out when DD was 9 months. I know too much about gallbladder pain. Kind of a dull discomfort, sometimes in the RUQ but mostly right underneath my sternum. It was a bit more sharp today and increased when I pushed on that area. It comes and goes after I eat, but randomly pops up in between meals too.

Appointments coming up? Not until the 31st.
How are you feeling? Ok. Tired. Starting to get some aches and creaks. More BH. Getting into our very tall bed winds me. But I'm doing ok overall, all things considered.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Nope
QOTW: What is your favorite time of year? Also love the fall. The weather here is amazing; cool and crisp, jeans and a sweatshirt weather, my favorite. And I love all the fall holidays.

I would LOVE a Halloween baby. That'd be great! I'd be 37+ weeks which would be great, longer than I stayed pregnant last time but not long enough for me to have to know the horrible discomfort that is coming anywhere near 40 weeks pregnant.
That said, my parents would absolutely just die if I had the baby then. They booked a cruise from October 28 through November 6 knowing that if I go as early as I did last time that they'll be gone and miss the birth. Every time this comes up my mom wells up with tears and says how torn she'd be and how she'd never forgive herself for missing it. But they won't reschedule it despite the fact that my dad also now needs another back surgery and won't be able to do anything on their vacation, so that's totally a them problem. I'll definitely be crushed if they're laying around in the Bahamas when the baby is born, but I also have no desire to actually see my due date, sooooooo.

Oh man, cnf, that would be a bummer if they missed the birth. My dad and his gf will be away for Thanksgiving this year. They booked it back in January, but now my dad is pretty upset that he's missing our first Thanksgiving with the baby.

cnf MH's parents missed the birth of DS. They knew it was a possibility because I was due May 18th and their trip to Jamaica was scheduled for the end of April. It would've cost them a ton of money to reschedule and I ended up delivering 3 weeks early. But it ended up being okay- we Skyped with them shortly after I gave birth and their bartender made up a new blue shot for everyone at the bar and named it after our son lol. They also had a special souvenir made for him and they got back home when he was 2 days old. They came to visit us at the hospital at like 11pm after their plane landed, which was also fine because we were awake anyway.
