How far along are you? 17 weeks How big is baby? Two Crème Brulees. Man I love Crème Brulee! Any upcoming appointments this week? Nope, but I have two next week. Any new symptoms or changes? Reflux when I eat too much. Having a hard time getting comfortable to fall asleep. Flutters here and there, but I'm ready to feel some real kicking! Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? Nothing I can think of right now. Random: Do you prefer Creamy or Crunchy Peanut Butter? Creamy. I don't like nuts in my sweets

How big is baby? A crepe Suzette! (Ovia)
Any upcoming appointments this week? My anatomy scan is Friday! So excited to see this little nugget again!
Any new symptoms or changes? Flutters in the morning and laying in bed at night. Such a great feeling I forgot all about!
Rants/raves/AW/questions? I'm working on our gender reveal announcement! I'm hesitant to do it before my anatomy scan though (I'm being paranoid that our Boutique US could be wrong even though I could clearly see 3 girl lines 😂) so we might wait until after Friday! 🎀
ETA Random: Do you prefer crunchy or creamy PB? I LOVE crunchy but H won't eat it so I usually buy creamy and suffer in silence! 😂😂 I love PB in general so I'll eat any and all of it!

How far along are you?: 18w4d How big is baby?: Sweet potato (WTE) / Slingshot (Ovia) Any upcoming appointments this week?: Next Wednesday for a sono. (Would probably be A/S but we already know from NIPT. If H is with me, hopefully the tech will be better about using pronouns than the NP who did the doppler a few weeks ago ) Any new symptoms or changes?: The reflux. Usually whenever I eat something greasy, or chocolate. It's not super bad all the time but it's unpleasant when it pops up. Trying to eat better to keep it to a minimum. Rants/Raves/AW/Questions?: I can't wear jeans anymore. Like, my regular jeans still fit fine, that's not the issue. I get so warm so fast (and honestly - apologies for the TMI - they've been kinda irritating my inner upper thighs a lot). I've switched to mostly dresses and just bought a maxi skirt and I'm kinda in heaven. So much more comfortable. Random: Do you prefer Creamy or Crunchy Peanut Butter?: CREAMY. Mmmmm.... peanut butter.... *Homer drool*

How far along are you? 17w3d How big is baby? Pomegranate Any upcoming appointments this week? I finally had one yesterday All good. OBGYN said it was the last time we'll get a full body print out as she'll be too big next time. Any new symptoms or changes? Still just the very subtle hardening/sticking out of my lower belly but nothing visible in clothes yet. Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? We went public yesterday. I was paranoid about it but H convinced me as everyone who even vaguely matters already knew anyway, so it's just the rest of my co-workers and people we only stay in touch with via facebook that got the news. sizzleb , a co-worker pretty much ran for my belly this morning. My work mate thought it was hilarious as I apparently looked at her in horror and took an instinctive step back, all while telling her "there's nothing there!". She didn't reach it I'm not even remotely showing yet so I fear the worst for the coming months. Random: Do you prefer Creamy or Crunchy Peanut Butter? Crunchy all the way. I only have creamy in the house because the shop had run out and I still craved it.

How far along are you? 18w3d
How big is baby? Don't know the size, but per the US 8 oz (though my book says it should only be 5.75 oz!)
Any upcoming appointments this week? None until 8/2 for my AS
Any new symptoms or changes? Not really. My appetite has gone back to normal and I haven't gained that much.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? I don't think I have you guys the full run down of how the appt went Friday, but since I just wrote it on PGAL, I'll just c&p.
We had our appt on Friday. The detailed US with measurements all looked great. But the counselor said visible things for Down's is only about 50% of the time. So she said we could think of it as 1:60 instead of 1:30 chances. But we opted to do the NIPT test to know with more certainty. She said if that comes back with high risk, it will be within about 90% certainty that the baby does have the extra chromosome. We could then decide whether to do the amnio, but at least right now I think both dh and I wouldn't want to take those MC risks to know that extra 10% certainty. If it comes back still abnormal, I think we will move forward with the thought that we are expecting a baby with Down's syndrome, and look into resources.
It's still scary, but I'm trying to be optimistic, especially after the US, until there is more reason not to be. Hopefully we will get results back early next week.
In another front, I got called back for a 2nd interview. My life is crazy right now.

How far along are you? 16 weeks, 5 days. I think I'm the latest due date of us all.
How big is baby? Avocado
Any upcoming appointments this week? No, I saw my OB last Thursday. I asked the deadline for consenting to a tubal because I don't want to miss it. She laughed and promised there is no deadline. (This is baby/csection number 4)
Any new symptoms or changes? Feeling good, loving the flutters.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? My 3 year old claims he can hear his brother and tells me what he's saying. Last night the baby "needs to stay up late to catch fireflies."
Random: Do you prefer Creamy or Crunchy Peanut Butter? Crunchy but no one else will eat it so I don't usually buy it.

Wow, ldubhawksfan , your life really IS crazy right now! I can't believe how well you seem to be handling everything. Congrats on your interview, and I 'm so glad that the odds were raised in your favor with the measurement test, even though it hasn't reduced all the risk. I've got my fingers crossed for your NIPT results.

How far along are you? 20weeks
How big is baby? small cantaloupe
Any upcoming appointments this week? Just had my AS this morning - I wrote more about it, and my dx of vasa previa, in the other thread.
Any new symptoms or changes? Belly is growing, and I can feel kicks a couple times a day.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? I finally told everyone at work who NEEDS to know, which is a load off of my mind.
Random: Do you prefer Creamy or Crunchy Peanut Butter? Creamy just because it's easier to use in recipes.

How far along are you? 19w, 4d
How big is baby? Between an heirloom tomato and a banana
Any upcoming appointments this week? A/S on Friday
Any new symptoms or changes? Baby moves more which is nice, except this morning she was lazy which freaked me out.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? Rant - I have cellulitis! I'm so pissed! I had a scratch on my ankle that got infected. I called my OB's nurse line because I was worried about it and she told me no neosporin and let it air dry, it's not an issue. I went to urgent care, now have antibiotics, an antibiotic cream, and they said to keep it covered until it heals more. So big eff you to the nurse for being so completely unhelpful.
Random: Do you prefer Creamy or Crunchy Peanut Butter? Creamy if putting on bread/bagel, crunchy if eating with a spoon out of the bottle. Justin's Honey Peanut Butter is my favorite.

Any new symptoms or changes? Still tired, still feeling a lot of movement, and still having reflux. So, nothing has changed.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? So happy to know the sex of the baby. I'm even happier to know I'm team blue again.

How far along are you? 20w, 4d How big is baby? A dragon egg. Fitting for the GoT premiere Sunday. Any upcoming appointments this week? Nope Any new symptoms or changes? Nope. It's getting harder to find a comfy sleeping position, but I do still find myself on my stomach sometimes. Baby boy isn't into it. Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? Not really....this is the easy part for me. Except having a July cold while KU with a toddler is a little bit of bullshit. But, don't worry MH is at home with his sniffles. sarahandben108, welcome to team blue. officedronette, I feel like a banana and an heirloom tomato is a weird thing to compare. typo31, stay off Dr. Google! kim22, that's adorable. ldubhawksfan, why was the risk 1/30 in the first place? That seems like a high starting point. Did I miss an indicator somewhere? Waffle, tummy touching already?! belle0720, MH makes THE BEST crème brulee. I may request some this weekend. babydsmama, ya for flutters.

Haha it's ok. I just wanted to let you know that it's first and foremost to check the anatomy of the baby to make sure there aren't concerns about the heart, kidney, etc and that they are measuring on track (the will take measurements of the femer and head, etc). My girlfriend found out about her son's heart defect at this appt. most of the time things are fine though. Finding out the sex is just an added bonus!

kensie5226 the second trimester results came back with those raised risk results. The 1st tri results were fine. But the 2nd test compares the levels of the first to those of the second. Even after talking with a genetic counselor it's still over my head.

In other news, I do need to up my injections to 60mg instead of 40mg. Good thing I saw the heartbeat on Monday as I would otherwise be freaking out right now
I asked the hematologist 3 times if this was something I should worry about and he said he just prefers to up the dose now rather than keep testing until I unavoidably need it in coming weeks. I'm still a little worried but trying to reassure myself that baby girl was there with strong heartbeat on Monday, so there's no reason for me to freak.
Guess I should have seen it coming as I was bruising less these last few days...

How far along are you? 20w5d
How big is baby? A paper plane.
Any upcoming appointments this week? Today! We have our anatomy scan then our 20 wk appointment right after.
Any new symptoms or changes? Freaking constipation is back again. I'm taking fiber chews, drinking water, stool softeners, and even eating 2 prunes every morning.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? See above. I'm going to ask the dr about it today. Also, I'm starting to struggle with the weight gain. I lost like 40 pounds since H and I met and I'll be back at that weight between IF and Pregnancy. It's hard to see it go back up. Also, H had lost 7 pounds since I got pregnant, so I keep having to hear about that. I'm less than 10 pounds away from weighing more than him now.
Random: Do you prefer Creamy or Crunchy Peanut Butter? I'm an equal opportunity peanut butter eater, but H only likes creamy so that is what I buy.

rooskie - good luck at your appointment! Hope the doc has some answers/advice about the constipation and that you are feeling better soon. Hugs on the weight issue - I will likely weigh more than H by the end as well since he is also losing weight (the bastard loses weight so easily - he'll just decide to lose 10 pounds and then *poof* it's gone. Asshole.). Now that I'm through tech week for my show and my energy is coming back, I want to start walking 3-4 times a week to help (thank God my work has a gym in the building so I won't melt outside). Being overweight to begin with wasn't super helpful and I did not take the best care of myself during IF treatments either. I suppose luckily for me, chocolate and anything greasy is starting to give me reflux - clearly that's not how I would prefer to cut something out of my diet, but whatever helps me eat healthier I'll take at this point!

cakewench - LT for commiseration. H cut out all sodas and WFH so he can workout whenever he wants to during the day. I'm so tired most nights that I just want to go home and crash, plus I changed jobs from walking 5k steps a day at work to 1k (smaller building). I keep telling myself that I've lost it once and I can do it again. Plus everyone keeps telling me about the magic of breastfeeding.

rooskie I know how you feel! My H lost 25 pounds during my first pregnancy (he had to start watching what he was eating due a choking incident and reflux). People were always telling him how good he looked and he really did. Meanwhile I gained 48 pounds so we were only 7 pounds apart by the end. He's over 8 inches taller than me, so you can imagine I felt like a whale. Things are different this pregnancy though, his weight is back up and I haven't gained as much at this point (working out more plus reflux makes it hard to overeat), but I'm sure by the end when I have a giant twin belly I'm going to be feeling pretty self conscious.
