What are some of your absolute must haves and what are somethings you are disappointed in? These don't have to be toddler/baby related.

Love: -This hair product for my curls. Way cheaper then a lot of the deva curl stuff, but I get similar results: - EZ mats. I bring them everywhere. They stick to most surfaces and are easy cleanup. K never tosses them like other plates and bowls. - Dress barn's new Sunday collection. Super comfy, super soft clothes. I got this www.dressbarn.com/dbsunday-printed-midi-dress/prd-103068400#color/150 and I can roll it into a ball and it doesn't wrink. If I was a SAHM, I'd trade my entire wardrobe in for these clothes. Hate -360 cups - they suck. I really hate them. Any time the cup drops or is thrown, the contents fly everywhere. -boon universal snack cup lids and sippy cup lids. The snack cups don't close so they dump out the entire contents in the diaper bag. I got the sippy cup lids to use with stainless steel cups so she could have water in her crib all night. They got tears in the silicone within a few weeks. I was pissed about that one.

What a fun thread idea! Loves: +1 to EZ mats. We have one and love it as well. -Richard Scarry word books - esp Best Word Book Ever and Cars and Trucks and Things That Go. So educational and fun. -I actually like the 360 cups! We never have issues with the contents spilling out. Although DS isn't a big thrower, which might be a reason. - IKEA potty with removable basin. This thing is so easy to clean and worked well for potty training. -Lenny Lamb baby carrier. I used this so, so much with DS. Can't wait to break it out once the baby arrives and is big enough! - Longchamp Le Pliage large tote "10 drop. I love this thing - it's so durable and I have had mine now for 10 yrs - still going strong. I like how there is no added weight from the purse itself. Mine is in black, and it never stains or tears...it has been through a lot of abuse in airports and for every day use. Def got my money out of it. m.shop.nordstrom.com/s/longchamp-large-le-pliage-tote/3241956Hate: - Mamaroo. DS hated it and I wish we hadn't registered for it. So much money. Hoping for a miracle that this new baby likes it. -Graco Travel Lite Crib. We bought it as a bassinet for DS when he was a baby. He hated it - slept in it a handful of times. Another waste of $$.

Taitai, I 1000000% agree with the Richard Scarry books - we actually have H's copy of Cars and Trucks and Things that Go from his childhood, and it is DS' favorite book ever. Other loves: - The Rock N Play was our most loved baby item ever, that thing literally saved my sanity (or what was left of it) those first six months or so. - I just bought the Ninja coffee bar on Prime Day, and I so far am loving it. So is my H, who is not even a big coffee drinker, but he's been having fun making the fancy iced drinks. - Halo sleep sacks - DS still wears them, and I love them because they keep his feet warm in the winter, and also have kept him from climbing out of the crib still. - The Girlfriend shorts from Gap. I hadn't worn shorts in so long, but I finally needed to break down because it's hot this year, and skirts/dresses just aren't that practical with a very active two year old. These are super flattering, and the perfect length. Misses: - I really don't like those to-go containers with the flexible lids for toddlers to stick their hands in - they're supposed to contain the mess, but I've actually found DS is able to somehow spill more Cheerios/whatever out of those than if I just give him a normal bowl. - Peel and stick tiles - H and I bought some (another Prime day purchase), and apparently, what he hadn't seen in all his research is you can't put them over a stove. So, kind of defeats the purpose for us. I was really bummed about that. I feel like there's more, but I can't think of them right now and have to run to a meeting, but good thread idea, sheilathetank!

Taitai, i would send you my 360 cups if the cost to ship them to you wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. Mh makes an ugh sound every time he sees them in the drawer. Your travel crib reminded me of another love, but it was $$$. After realizing the pack and play was the least portable thing ever, I found this travel crib and we LOVE IT! It's so easy to set up and take down. It's small enough to keep in my car at all times. The carrying case can convert to a backpack, and is small enough to fit as an airplane carry on. We got the sun shade and use it when we go to the beach. Seriously one of the best investments ever.

We have a very, very similar travel crib to the one you posted, and we love it. The baby bjorn travel crib. It has been on countless plane rides and to 3 continents, plus DS sleeps well in it (and he is an extremely picky sleeper). So, so glad we purchased it. www.amazon.com/BABYBJORN-Travel-Crib-Light-Silver/dp/B00IM8G038jillywilly Yes to the Rock n Play as well. It is the only way DS would sleep the first 6 months of his life. I remember once putting my hands in a prayer position and thanking Fisher Price for inventing it. 😂😂

Hi everyone! I hope it's ok I play here a little.. Loves: Grill mats. My H loves these and it makes cleaning the grill a breeze. www.amazon.com/dp/B01FQQVS9Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_eTIBzbY3XMP53Hates: +1 to not liking the 360 cups. We used munchkin weighted straw cups for what seemed like forever, so much better IMO. I'll be back as I think of more.

Do the munchin straw cups not leak? We have gerber/nuk straw cups and they sometimes pressurize and then liquid comes pouring out even when the cup is placed on a flat surface. I love the regular nuk/gerber toddler cups. Those are magical unicorn cups that never leak.

@shielathetank, they did seem to leak after we had them for awhile, I think the suction between straw and lid would weaken. I did notice some pressurizing if the drink was really cold ( like ice water). It's so frustrating trying to find cups that are truly leak proof!

Love:
-Magic Erasers (but who doesn't?)
-Juddlies sleep sacks for winter time. +1 to Halo sleep sacks for summer.
-Tupperware marinating container. We use it a ton and it's completely leak-proof. It's also good for storing cookies and other treats.
-the high chair from IKEA that costs around $25 (in Canada). It's so easy to clean.
-Dyson stick vacuum. I use that thing all day every day, it's great.
-Usborne baby/toddler books. L loves every Usborne book we have.
-Aquaphor. It's the best for L's eczema.
I'll come back when I can think of things I hate...
ETA: I LOVE my Le Creuset soup pot. I cook everything in it and it's so easy to clean. It still looks brand new.

I am mad at Longchamp because my le pliage tote got holes in the corners and they refused to fix it because it would impact the patented design. RAGE.
We love -skip hop stainless steel straw cup. It's the best cup we've found so far.
-babiators. My kid loves them and they are hard to break
-gerber suction plates. They actually stick!

Loves: * Summer Infant Ultimate Crib sheet. It didn't get much use when LBB was an infant, but BH leaked through his diaper. And it's amazing for nighttime accidents for older kids. We have one in both the crib, and the middle of LBB's bed. * Munchkin bowls. We keep these in a bottom drawer and both kids can grab and fill them with snacks. * Contigo bottles. The only ones I've found that honestly don't leak when thrown in a bag and hold a shitton of water/ice. They also come in various degrees of difficulty which keeps BH from drinking out of LBB's bottles. Which causes waaaaay less fighting. * Babyhawk Mei-tai. I STILL use this with BH. And it's from when LBB was an infant. It's got a long shelf life. * This dress. I have it in orange and navy because I love it so much, and you can't beat the price. * Pete the Cat books. Hates: * Goodnight Moon. I hate this book. There's no plot or character development. I tell DH he might as well read our kids a shopping list. * Swaddle Me wraps. So much more complicated than Halo and they didn't work as well.

Loves: -another EZPZ fan especially the mini - love my citymini GT. I have literally never had stroller envy. Lol. - fawn design diaper bag. So love this -non baby: chi ion blow dryer. It was 6 kajillion dollars but at this point I have had it for over 10 freakin years and it still works and is amazing. - the Merlin was magic for us - IKEA high chair. The best and only $20 - kindle unlimited all the garbage you could ever want to read for $10 a month!
Hates: - the mamaroo and the RNP LO hated both - all swaddling blankets and devices - 360 cup.
I'm sure there are more... Things I wish existed: - some kind of magic fairy that would cut your baby/toddler's nails

Mine is called "DH." I've never done either of my kids' nails. Me too. I was too paranoid when DS was a baby, and told him I was doing more than my fair share of baby work (pumping, washing bottles, swaddling and getting him to sleep were almost all exclusively in my wheelhouse at that point). It's just kind of stuck with him for the last two years.

lily, tha dinosaur ball popper looks like fun! oh, I see it's on your hate list...but the kids! I gifted it to more than one toddler in my pre-kid days. It's a super smash with little ones. But it plays music and makes a loud popping noise and filled with Hot Wheels, dude, cacophony. Best suited to 6-12mo maybe? Ones who won't fill it with Hot Wheels? That said, it's in storage for whenever baby #2 happens 😂

Luckily, it became a toy that lives at my moms house (she has a bunch since she watches him once a week). Mysteriously, it ran out of batteries and my mom "can't find more" for it a few months ago, lol.

Loves: Usbourne infant/toddler books Medela quick steam microwave bags for pump parts or bottles or pacifiers Camelbak for adults & kids (especially like the insulated one for the summer time) Mini Tonka construction vehicles (cost less than $1 a piece at Walmart ... they are my kids' favorite toys and he can take them everywhere because they are small).
Misses: DH hates the 360 cups. I'm meh. J&J detangle spray. Leave in conditioner + a Wet brush works so much better for DS' messy curls.

grumpycat, I have never seen those mini Tonka trucks at my Walmart. I feel cheated! lily, what's the hate toward play food? Is it just that they hide it around the house? I crocheted a bunch of play food for K during the winter. Since it's soft and squishy it's easy to just shove in a toy bin if I want it out of the way.
