hoosiermama76, I get what you're feeling re: the $$ aspect. We can really only financially swing one shot at IVF, and that's WITH a grant. After that, we need to explore sperm donors with IUI.

Lurking in to say ((hugs)) hoosiermama76, but so glad you're trying to take care of yourself amidst all of this. We're just starting this journey and the money aspect scares of crap out of me so I get your headspace. Hope the next few days bring some answers. Thank you! I'm doing better. My blood work came back good, so he is moving ahead with an embryo freeze after retrieval with a FET cycle later. He doesn't want to overstimulate me, and so he is wanting to freeze them instead of doing a fresh cycle. He will use an HcG and Lipton trigger and thinks he can get ten eggs at least. Praying. I'm glad the meds aren't a wash and that I can get surgery out of the way before school and maybe even enjoy a couple days before I have to head back to work. I am mad I have to do the appointments and take meds again for the frozen transfer, but he said he can schedule it on a Friday and I'll just take one day off of work. Also, knowing nothing about FET, how bad are the meds? How expensive compared to stims?

*grad warning* hoosiermama76, my FET meds were way cheaper (but it really depends on your regimen). Really, the only injectable was Lupron. From my understanding it would have been $500. However, I had leftover Menopur from stims so my RE swapped me the Menopur for Lupron. For my fresh cycle I had estrogen patches which were $10 each (so $300/month). For the FET my RE has me on generic Estrace which is cheap (copay is $7.50 for a month with insurance). The PIO isn't cheap but I have to have that regardless if fresh or frozen. I know my situation was unique, so hopefully others chime in to give you a better idea Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

I just got my AMH results back and I can't decide if the Co-Q10 has just really helped or if something is suspicious. My levels went from 1.63 a year ago to 3.53. That seems crazy and unlikely. At least my progesterone confirmed ovulation - hopefully this was just a word fluke delayed-ovulation cycle.

kyzo that helps a lot! I'm glad that they weren't as much! The stimming meds are so expensive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
