I'm glad someone can support that from a doc. I haven't given DS any yet, and was going to ask at our next appointment. Any idea how/why there is arsenic in rice but not oatmeal? I guess there's arsenic in all rice, not just rice cereal. It's the way it's grown? (My unprofessional information.) Correct. Decades ago, arsenic was used on rice plants. Now, it can still be in the soil, but FDA limits are really low on what's allowed We do rice cereal in every bottle (reflux). I go with beechnut though because 1) they're local to me and 2) my office physically inspects them so I know a bit more about how they test their products to make me comfortable with their stuff.
