I did really good muscari, I had back plenty of soups and such. But we've had cold weather again and i've been too tired at the end of the day, and we have eaten some of the freezer meals. So I may have to make some more.

LOL my cousin just shared this with me.. I thought it was appropriate for this thread (even though I can very well cook without the fire alarms cheering at me! )

I'm super impressed with you guys for cooking, lol. I have some grocery store lasagna, pasta, pizza, taquitos, and curry. Just couldn't bring myself to cook this time.

Hey tis the end result that counts so who cares whether you prepped things yourself or bought things yourself at the store ;-) I may hit the store and buy some prefab lasagna still as well - I know I can make it myself without to much trouble BUT MH&I actually find the store one real yummie so it'll safe me the work?? What are taquitos??

I'm hoping to talk my sister into bringing some food that grows on the islands. I've wanted them so bad my whole pregnancy. But I will settle for after wards too.

My freezer is pretty well stocked. The past couple weeks I just doubled everything I've made and froze half, so we have quite a few meals in there. I also bought some premade frozen stuff as well. My brother has also told me he plans to make me some meals (he's a really good cook) and my mom will too (she lives very close by) so I think I'll be good for at least the first month.

What are taquitos?? Taquitos are little tacos rolled up, and usually fried. Not the healthiest but yummy and DH likes them.

I just have to have enough food to get me to mid September when my parents and sister come. Then there will be plenty of people to cook for me for a while!

I don't know how I missed this thread initially. I've been making things since early July so I'm well stocked. I made a lot of dinners but had people tell me breads and muffins were great for snacks and breakfast.
Here's what I have in the freezer: 3 Bags Bolognese 2 Portions of Slow Cooker Chicken Tacos 1 Bag of Thai Meatballs (to make lettuce wraps) 1 bag of meatballs with marinara sauce 2 portions of Chicken Tortellini Soup 2 portions of Meatball Vegetable Soup 2 chicken pot pies 6 mini loaves blueberry bread 9 large slices Cherry Almond Bread 8 Slices Peach Bread 8 large slices APple cinnamon bread
I've canned: 3 jars of blueberry pie filling 5 jars of peach pie filling
Mixes I've made: 2 quarts biscuit mix (Each quart will make 20 biscuits so 2-3 servings per jar) 2 quarts pancake mix (Each quart will make 20 pancakes so 2-3 servings per jar)

Oy king26 you are well-stocked! All that would never fit my freezer.. I think I need a bigger freezer *nods* It's all in my basement freezer. We did "eat from the freezer" most of July to clear it out. Now it's stocked again. I'm a food blogger so a second refrigerator/freezer is a must. I've very excited a company sent me a TON of snack sized hummus and guacamole that's good until the end of September so that's taking up half my basement refrigerator but will be great for snacking while I'm nursing.
