Morning! The scammers are still trying to get me to send my personal info. I asked them for someone's contact to actually speak with, or email, someone and they said they don't provide that til you're hired. Uh no.
I told them I reached out to the corporate office and through their FB page, which I couldn't find contact info online but did through FB, and that if they didn't verify this info, I would be contacting the police.
I'm still really annoyed at myself with the situation and can't talk to H about it because he would be pissed.
We kept evie home from school today. Her allergies are bad, congestion and slight cough, so she's going to MILs while H has his meet with this company today. Fingers crossed something comes of this.

I woke up super sore but slept through the night without waking up to take any pain medication. So that's probably why. I'm eating breakfast now and hoping A brings me coffee.

Morning! Rainy day here. A is at school, whew I can get so much done without him getting into everything. He's always climbing on the counter to get into the cabinets, pulling stuff out of the freezer, ect.

I forgot to tell you guys this and some of it is still coming back to me.. Last surgery I woke up super nauseous and sick. This time they pretreated for that which was awesome. But I guess my body just had to pick a symptom so I woke up crying. And continued to cry for the whole hour in recovery and kept telling the nurse "I'm not usually this whiny, I'm sorry" 🤣 and I remember saying "ohhhhh I passed out before I got here last time" when they took me to the OR. They give you sleepy meds before wheeling you back. Apparently I was awake this time lol.
Anyone else get weird with anesthesia?

But I guess my body just had to pick a symptom so I woke up crying. And continued to cry for the whole hour in recovery and kept telling the nurse "I'm not usually this whiny, I'm sorry" 🤣 and I remember saying "ohhhhh I passed out before I got here last time" when they took me to the OR. They give you sleepy meds before wheeling you back. Apparently I was awake this time lol. Anyone else get weird with anesthesia? Haha! My only time being put under was when I had A. I think they pretreated for nausea because I got sick after my first two c-sections (I was awake for those) so I just woke up groggy and kept clenching all my back/neck muscles (I think anxiety). |

Morning.
On the way to drop the boys off I got this annoying little throbbing headache. After it didn’t go away with coffee, I took some ibuprofen and went to workout. I didn’t feel like going, but I couldn’t skip a Monday.
More of the same housework and packing today. I would rather sit on my couch and eat flaming hot pickle chips while catching up on the dvr, but I must be productive.

I chose to have the procedure and since I did the birth med free I had to be put under for about 10-15 min. I remember being on the table chatting: Me: Ugh I am missing Grey's Anatomy tonight, shit. Well you guys are real Dr's I bet watching it on TV is annoying? Dr and all the nurses: ya totally it's not what we choose to watch Me: ok Dr, what do you watch Dr: documentaries Me: Oooh that sounds awful you should maybe try Grey's. And then I was out. ETA: +1 to shivering tgrimes, I remember getting so many heavy heated blankets in recovery. |

Did I tell y'all that MH & I are going to San Francisco in a couple of weeks? My in laws will be watching the kids. We'll take a day trip to the Redwoods and Napa/Sonoma. My college friend I danced with lives there so we're going to meet up with him one night after his rehearsals. I'd rather be going to a beach but MH said he didn't want to sit on the beach and do nothing. Ummmm, that's exactly what I would like to do.
He can't say I've never made sacrifices now.

I’m jealous. I want to go somewhere without the kids, but this move is not making that possible this year. I don’t want to take the kids on a plane just yet, but we will probably go somewhere early next year because I have to use up some flight vouchers by then. I think there is a possibility that kids could get the vaccine by end of year, so I’m ok with waiting just in case. We are going to the beach end of June and I’m thinking of driving up to Chicago for fall break. It would be a 7 hour drive for us then, so not too bad. Anyone else planning travel this year? Tell me about your plans please. |

Trigger warning
My dad called to tell me a driver, my favorite driver, would be off the rest of the week. His son was shot to death on his lunch break from work. He didn't know why or how yet. He was on his way to the crime scene when he called my dad. I'm going to send a card and gift card but I just don't know what else to do and it doesn't feel like enough. We'll go to the funeral if there is one but what else can I do? As much as I bitch about my drivers, we take care of our guys. We run our business like a family.

Hey. DH was up in the night puking so I’m the last man standing. As the trend goes that leaves me getting sick tues night. I’m crossing all my fingers and toes that doesn’t happen because then I’ll have to reschedule all my dental stuff. I don’t wanna. It’s cooler and super windy today so I haven’t wanted to be outside but I wanted to finish the porch roof so I forced myself to get it done. It looks so nice! I have a bunch of paint to touch up on the house and I need to get the new lights installed and then I’ll take an after pic. Next item on the porch project is the front door, but that’ll probably wait until this weekend.

I'm not caught up yet. Been at Urgent Care with Cass for 2 hours. Her rash changed and she felt worse. They've run every lab under the sun and had several doctors in here. Now we're just waiting.

Hey!
I had my gallbladder out and they gave me something that made me kinda of out of it and sleepy (versed maybe).
Apparently as they wheeled me to the operation room MH gavr me a kiss, and I told him he had to kiss me for real. He told me it made the nurses laugh.
I bought some flowers and pots today and then it promptly stated to drizzle so I cleaned the basement and the bathrooms, instead.
I have Charlie’s kindergarten orientation tonight over zoom. The asked that kids come, but I think that’s a nightmare so Charlie’s sitting this one out.
