I'm meeting a friend for sushi tonight. I haven't seen her in a year and a half probably so I'm pretty excited to meet up tonight!

Also, last night I saw I had a message in H's mychart account. I assumed it was letting me know we were referred to genetics or something but it was from the doctor we saw yesterday. She was just checking in to see if I had any questions about what we discussed, etc. She knew it was a lot to take in at one appt and we didn't go into detail on everything so if I had any questions or wanted to talk again I could message her through mychart.
HOW NICE IS THAT? AND IT WAS 9:45PM when she sent it!

Morning! It’s Kingsday over here. No real celebrations, but apparently people in the cities are forgetting there’s a pandemic going on and are having massive parties on the street... numbers are still raging here, people are so incredibly stupid!!!
We celebrated by getting orange glaced millefeuille, decorated the area around our cabin with orange banners and played old fashioned games. We got ds an orange sweat band & dd orange bows, they both loved it. We just came home from a two hour walk and picknick, we really lucked out with the weather again!

I have my extras. The girl is in a much better mood today. So that's good. We took a golf cart ride to the pond, our geese eggs hatched so there's 6-8 sweet little gosling swimming around. I can't tell how many because they're all bunched up and mom and dad crowd them. Hopefully in a few weeks we can see how many there actually are.
Now we're playing on the playground. It's a gorgeous day, hoping my house stays clean and everyone will play outside all day.

We have an appt with genetics May 27. They'll decide if he needs to be tested and for what at that time. Then they have to get approval from insurance, which usually takes 3-4 weeks and we'll get called back for blood work. Once they do blood work it's usually 6 weeks to get the results.

Morning.
I got a call yesterday afternoon that they needed someone to work. There is usually an extra tech on Tuesday’s, but her high school aged son tested positive for covid so she had to be off and another tech had to leave early. I had an afternoon appointment with the contractor that did my kitchen to show him the inspection items that needed fixing. I moved that appointment to this morning so I could come in to work. Get here and the tech that was supposed to off with her son who tested positive is here. 🤦🏽♀️ Somehow the other boss worked it out where should could come in- probably because she has had the vaccine. The lead that talked to me didn’t want to tell me not to come in because I had rearranged my day to come in. I’m not too bothered by it all, but I could have used some time at home today to get some things checked off my list. After a big spending weekend, I feel like I could use the money, too even though I know we will be okay if I didn’t come in. Whatever. I’m here and it’s not too busy so I can still do some personal stuff on the computer.

Morning. S was up most of the night throwing up. DH woke me up to ask about getting all the vomit out of the carpet because she projectile vomited down the hall. I need to rent a carpet cleaning machine because the normal carpet cleaner wasn’t doing it. I did have him sprinkle baking soda over the spots to absorb the smell. She seems to be feeling a little better this morning, although now she’s complaining that it hurts to poop. Poor kid. V is also a bit crabby because she’s teething and I think it’s really bothering her. I had grand plans for today that all crumbled down. Oh well. I have to work tonight and I actually think I’m done training people for a little while, hallelujah! tgrimes that’s so sweet. |

I don’t know if my current administration knows or not so that’s weird. It is the 3 years old so I will start with a small class and kids will be added as they turn 3.
