Today will likely be like yesterday, going through more houses for more design ideas.
I need to get laundry done and the house cleaned, but what I don't get done, I'll tell H to do tomorrow.

Remember my friend that committed suicide? We're meeting his parents at his house (about an hour away) to help them load up some of his belongings. Tools, clothes, lawnmower, etc. His wife doesn't want to see any of his siblings because she knows they believe its her fault and she's scared, which is why MH & I volunteered to help. His parents are on the older side and probably don't need to be moving anything on their own.
We're having a babysitter come over to watch the kids. I didn't want to take them in case something crazy happens up there.

Morning. I worked yesterday, then went home and napped. Back at work today and it’s raining with a tiny bit of snow at the beginning. After work I will probably just nap again. Thinking of you klong11tgrimes I hope everyone keeps it civil. |

We set up Cadence's swing and she made some damn good brownies. After she went to bed we watched the new Mortal Kombat movie.

So E has gone on the potty at least once everyday. I’m so proud of her. She’s really starting to get it. Hopefully my the end of the summer she’s fully potty trained!!

Thanks, everyone!
My kids and husband has been so cute. He’s really letting them run the show in celebrating me, so I had a ton of balloons and a whole mess of streamers all over the house. They picked up really delicious breakfast sandwiches early this morning and surprised me with them. It’s been a good morning!
We had a little snag with the kid’s birthday party. The entire second grade cohort was put on quarantine last night. The birthday girl’s brother is in the class so it gave me pause again but we decided to take her and pick her up at 1:30 like planned.
We haven’t been to a birthday party since the beginning of last year, so I didn’t know if people were going to stay or not. Apparently, birthday parties are drop off only. I cannot even tell you how quickly the other moms busted out of the gymnastics place.
I went to get my birthday drink at Starbucks and walked around HomeGoods for 20 minutes.
Now I’m back in my car in the parking lot listening to a podcast and getting a sushi order for a late lunch.

I had a crazy nightmare and couldn't sleep, so I got up and worked out at 6am and now am dragging. Just picking up stuff around the house and mh is doing mulch outside. I've been looking for big plants for our front steps but am not impressed with the prices for anything stronger than plastic, but found a matching pair of concrete ones in our backyard that may look okay, so I think I'll try those before buying anything.

We are watching The Willoughbys and it’s horrible. I’m sneaking using my phone. It also has parental abuse, neglect, a plot to kill said parents, and a horrible portrayal of being an orphan. I tend to not take animated movies too seriously but damn these are some odd and complicated themes for a kids movie. Plus it’s boring.
Not much else going on today. Prepping for returning to school tomorrow post spring break.
