I was pretty underwhelmed and found this episode to be excessively cheesy and very forced in a lot of cases.
I'm such a sucker for a glimpse to the future at the end of a book or show/movie though and loved the song choice, so the end was my favorite part of the episode.

It’s the day after so I think it’s fine to talk details at this point.
Rebecca and the Dutch man are together and that was honestly my top priority. I did enjoy the opening scene (my brain totally glitched the entire time: no they wouldn’t, this is a fake out. Wait maybe? Ugh no! What the hell! It can’t be. Omg but I think they did?! Oh, no. They didn’t. Thank goodness.)
It’s fair that Keely pulled an Alexis rose and did her own thing at the end but I’m annoyed on a selfish level. I wanted her and Roy to figure things out and the back and forth of the last two episodes feels wasted and kind of mean now.
I like all the Roy/Jamie parts except them fighting over Keely. That felt fairly out of character for them at this point, but maybe I had too high of an opinion of them. Idk.
Ted’s kid annoys me. His wife too. I hate the idea that they probably got back together. If that was the plan, they should have made it more clear that the biggest problem in their relationship was Ted needing to heal and conquer problems head on. And never made her date their couples therapist.
Everyone was more forgiving of Nate than I could ever be.
Mae’s call back to Cheers was a nice Easter egg and Trent’s book is such a nice touch.

I agree with all of that above.
I just want to add that I own the 'Stay Golden' Golden Girls shirt that Trent was wearing and I have never felt cooler.

Highlight of the episode for me was Colin getting his kiss at the end of the game.

I think I’m still processing. I’m also feeling very put out that they can’t keep making episodes for us in perpetuity.

While I’m disappointed Roy and Keely didn’t get back together, at least Roy and Jamie’s friendship survived. They’ve both grown so much over the last 3 seasons, and I needed their bromance to continue.
Reuniting with the Dutchman was a pleasant surprise. I figured his role was just to help Rebecca understand that she could love again, but that we would never see him again. I dig it.
I was happy to see Dr. Sharon in the final episode. Although I would’ve loved to have seen her more throughout. I don’t think they needed her every episode like last season, but every few episodes, I think would have helped further Ted’s story of healing.
The rendition that the team did of So Long, Farewell was amazing. They could’ve ended the episode right there and I would’ve been happy.

I loved it. It was over the top, but in the perfect Ted Lasso Way that we have been trained in for the past three years.
I loved that Keely chose neither man and kicked them out when they told her to choose. TV does not show enough man/woman friendships. And the healthy, mature way that Roy and Jamie accepted rejection.
Selling the club to fans was wonderful. Rebecca’s ex breaking down was eh, but an appropriate ending.
I’m cool with Nate because they’re all cool with Nate. It is believable that they would forgive him and I’ll never begrudge a person forgiveness.
I don’t think that Ted and ex get back together. I also don’t particularly care, so I’m glad that they didn’t show any of that. I do appreciate that they let us hate the new guy a little bit (besides for his unethical behavior).
And so much joy at Rebecca and the Dutchman. Just joy.

He seemed genuinely sorry and willing to work his way back in and up.

+1 to enjoyed the episode. I'm sad that it's ended, but I think it ended well.
I am happy for Keely, and love the Jamie-Roy things.
There never was an accident, was there - that the auntie predicted for Rebecca? I can't entirely remember what she predicted but there was the green match book, the the shite in nining armour mix-up, an accident and a daughter. Could the accident have been Rebecca falling into the canal?

Could the accident have been Rebecca falling into the canal? I believe so, because she said that Rebecca would be soaking wet. She also said that Rebecca would have a family, and I think that came true in two ways; obviously one with the Dutchman and his daughter, but also when she said she was staying with the team because she wanted to stay with her family. And they called her the Matriarch. I loved the nod to Cheers at the end with Mae straightening the same picture that Sam straightened at the end of Cheers.

I was wondering if they were going to leave it with the pub boys saying she was the mom they never had. Glad they brought the Dutchman back at the last moment.

I still think everything about the finale points to Keely being the character that gets a spin-off. Leaving her romantically unattached leaves her wide-open for new storylines. I think it will be a girl-power in London kind of show with Keely launching her new PR firm on her own. I think it would also explain why all those characters around Keely were introduced when they seemingly added nothing to the Ted Lasso storyline. I think they will pop up again in a spin-off.

My guess is the spin off, if there is one, will revolve around the woman's team that Keeley suggested to Rebecca at the very end.

Exactly what was the point of therapist boyfriend being a complete arsehole the whole episode? Just, why? So Ted and Michelle could get back together? GTFO with that

I needed to be in the right headspace to watch and digest this thing and that finally happened Saturday morning. I have a lot of mixed feelings. I'm happy for Ted that he is home and seems to be doing well. I hope he continues his journey with his mental health. I hate therapist boyfriend. I selfishly wanted the satisfaction of a Roy and Keely endgame but I suppose I can be happy for her or whatever. I liked the way they brought the Dutchman back. I loved Rebecca selling part of the team to the fans.

It didn't show them explicitly *together* so I was hopeful that was the case.

Yeah, I thought a lot of this season was cheesy and awkward. Like Jade was never given a personality? Nate's dad calling him a genius? Ted's mom showing up for the first time and him confronting her?
I mean, I liked the characters but if this was the way it was going to continue it's best it ended.
I also find Keely a bit annoying so I likely wouldn't watch a spin-off.
I think I liked the Roy/Jamie stuff best this season, as well as Sam. And Rebecca, I loved where her character ended. I actually liked that Ted ended up leaving, I think he just did so in a weird way. They could have built up his reason for leaving a little more. Although I said to my H that I found his kid annoying and I would have stayed in the UK if I was Ted 🤣
And I'll be a hypocrite as well because I LOVED "So Long, Farewell" but I love The Sound of Music.

Just finished and a lot of what I'm thinking has already been said. This season was so weird and disjointed, especially for a final season.
I was predicting a Keely spin off pretty early in the season. It's like she was on her own show for a while there already. She had very little interaction with the rest of the cast, and I could definitely see them making a "Keely's PR firm" show. Once they did the love triangle thing at the end, I was certain that's what was happening. They didn't put her with either man and had both of them arguing over her so that can be a crucial part of the new show.
The thing with Michelle's boyfriend at the end was so bizarre. I mean, I had bad vibes from an ex-therapist getting with his patient. But the show didn't really give us any other reason to think he wasn't an okay guy. So how strange to suddenly make him seem like a POS in the finale? Weird.
If I ever rewatch the series, I'll probably only watch s1.

I finally finished it and had a few days to gather my thoughts:
I liked overall where everyone ended up, even though some of the routes there were not my favourite. (could have done without Kava plot and Keeley's friend).
I think I like that Keely didn't end up with either guy, although I would have loved if she ended up with Roy. I think that there is still a chance for them, especially since it looks like Roy is starting therapy.
I didn't want Nate to get a redemption arc, but it wouldn't be Ted Lasso without second chances, so I did like how he made it back to Richmond and seems to be working at making up for what he did.
I loved the end to Rebecca's story, it was cute and satisfying.
Fuck Rupert - although I found his last scene almost cartoonish.
Overall, still one of the best shows I've watched and I will praise it forever. I also got very invested in the last two games they had.
