The popular kids would always say they weren't popular so I assume no one here will say they were popular

Theatre kid. Though I just did backstage stuff. I was in charge quite early, and ruled the props room and stage left with an iron fist.

I guess I was in the party crowd. Lots of parties, drinking, fun, but we all did well in school and were involved in extra curriculars.

We were just the group of regular kids who didn't really fit in with any other group. We were some of everything, but not enough to put us in that specific group.

I certainly wasn't popular. I was in theatre, on the newspaper staff, and in AP classes. So pretty nerdy all around, but probably in the bottom half of the nerds in terms of brains.

Oh, you mean artsy or music or a jock, that kind of thing? I was in the plays and sang, but also played soccer and ran track. Truly, I liked the acting and singing better than the sports, but dont consider that my teen identity.

I was in an eclectic group but mostly the band kids. Definitely a band geek. We had different Fandom we enjoyed. I liked Harry Potter. A lot of my friends enjoyed anime but I didn't.

I identified best with the band geeks, I could play 7 instruments by 9th grade and was top in the western region of the state on my preferred instrument by my senior year. I was also an athlete and had some popular friends, I dated a football player and was on homecoming court. I was also a high academic performer.
I had friends that I would have introduced them as a friend across all areas of the school, but my best friend was more goth, and the group we hung out with were all band people.
I never went to a popular person party.
I think what I’m saying here is that I peeked in high school and only have like 6 real friends now.

Nerdy, yet semi-popular. I took all of the "hard" classes, played volleyball and soccer, participated in show choir and was a dancer (not with school). I also got the class clown superlative. I guess I liked to dip my toes in all the waters.
I didn't do any drugs until college, tho. I was still an angel in that regard.😇😇

Artsy weirdo desperate to fit in (I moved 11 times before I graduated hs). The harder I tried the more it backfired. 2 kids at high school had a game where they would earn points for making me cry.

"I'm just friends with everyone" is also what the popular kids would say when you reminded them they were the popular kids. But then they would be assholes to my friends.
🤣
I'm not coming for anyone here, I just always found it funny how some of the in crowd were.

Homeschooled, fundamental Christian childhood here. So I didn’t have a group or label outside of weirdo religious kid I guess. I did well in school, read a ton, was pretty stand offish, got laughed at a lot. Idk. I think if I had gone to public school I would have been labeled a nerd.

Arty kid, but I was a cheerleader too. I went to a really small school, and cheerleaders weren’t really popular. You were cool if you played basketball.
We had 100 kids in my grade, so everyone kind of knew/hung with everyone.

Geek (AP classes and honor roll) but I was friends with people from every "group". 🤷🏼♀️ I guess this is how I would classify myself. I wouldn’t say I was in the popular crowd at all, but those of us in IB classes and generally focused on academics just sort of had our own group. I also played golf and had my friends from that team, but golf doesn’t exactly scream “jock”, lol.

The popular student body president and his friends made signs about me and actually hung them up in school. The popular kids would throw coins at us during lunch
