Another wet weekend

Morning ladies! What are everyone's plans?

My period is trying to kill me again this month. I woke up a little after 4 and thought I'd go use the bathroom quick, realized everything was heavier than I thought and couldn't go back to sleep. I'm on cup 3 of coffee, I normally might have 2, so should be an amazing day.

We are going to look at the new jeep first thing. Evie has free swim lessons both days this weekend. And MIL is finally feeling better so we are going to Olive Garden for an early dinner to celebrate my bday.

Yep.

Lots of lightning, thunder, and wind most of the night. I’m glad the power stayed on. It flickered about an hour into it so I made sure all the flashlights and candles were out and put everything on chargers just in case.

Also morning. The weather sucks and I’ve run completely out of ideas to do anything creative or fun with the kids...

We tried giving dd a bottle of formula, she’s still refusing all bottles and I was sick and tired of pumping and then having to throw it away. My goodness, she got maaaaaaad. She screamed like we were at the very least poisoning her. I nursed her to calm her down and she fell asleep at the breast and has been then for the last hour. I’m not trying wean her, but since she’s nurses every two hours, it would be nice if Dh could give her a bottle so I could catch a break from time to time. She also will not sleep in a crib 🙄.

Morning. I’m up early and can’t go back to sleep. The boys are still sleeping. I guess I’ll go make some coffee so I can have it in peace.

Because of the pending weather, M’s game yesterday was canceled and now the fields are too wet to play today. The clouds didn’t even start to roll in until 7, so I wish they would have at least let us play that 530 game.

Not sure what we are doing today. I have laundry to fold and maybe we will head to a park later.

M wants to organize our art closet today and I need to fold/put away some laundry. Tonight we are going to visit some of my childhood friends.

I grew up on the same street as this family and they had 4 boys. One of them committed suicide last month and I only found out last week when I joined instagram.

We live too close to not see each other regularly so we're going to make it a point to see our friends more often. Something like this really puts things in perspective, you know?

Cadence has her derby races today via zoom.

Then her and mh are apparently camping in the backyard tonight. Yoo-hoo, sweet silence!!

I didn't take her after work the other day for bluebonnet pictures, so I would like to do that today.

Tomorrow she has a playdate with some old dc friends at a park close by. They are fully vaccinated and it's outside, so I'm ok with it.

Morning, I’m at work. Tapa was working fine for a while yesterday and then just decided it doesn’t like HIH anymore so I am using safari. Annoying. My nephew came over to play with the girls for a couple hours last night. H has her first spring soccer game this morning, DH is taking all 3 and hopefully his mom is helping him.

***TW***my 15 year old niece has been in the hospital since wed afternoon because she tried to commit suicide Tuesday night. I don’t know the details because my sister didn’t want to tell me, but I’m glad she wasn’t successful and is getting help. She told her friends at school on wed morning, who told the councilor.

35.  It's a long story but his wife is crazy/psycho and sort of pushed him to do it.  The police are still investigating to see if they can charge her with anything.  The family is just concerned about his 4 kids right now.

Just a chill morning so far, the kids are playing/watching tv and I’m just about to go through my closet. I’ve got to switch in some summer clothes.

A neighbour had to put her dog down yesterday so I think we’ll go pick out some flowers for her. Hopefully get out for a bike ride this morning since the afternoon is supposed to be a little chilly with rain so I might make it a movie afternoon for us.

Just at work today. I was so annoyed with how it started out. Yesterday I put in an almost 12 hour day for about 2 hours worth of work. Then our boss had the nerve to do this BS talk about how we're here until the last person is done, blah blah blah. It was so annoying when basically as per usual, a bunch of chucklefucks decided to dick around all day and show up for their medical clearance at the end of the day. We didn't even see that many patients, but it's so disorganized someone showed up at 7 pm. Such a waste of time and resources. They are killing morale and will wonder why everyone leaves when their contract is done.

It's only 0920 and I've already completed a ton of work and probably won't have much to do most of the day. I'm going to finish a report I started yesterday for my civilian job and read.

As a nice surprise, my family actually did a decent job of picking up around the house yesterday so I didn't return to a messy home.

I was looking at my dog tags last night and I noticed the abbreviation they put for my religious beliefs (non-denominational)--"NO DEMON." Lolz. I can get behind those beliefs. No demons please.

L had t-ball this morning which was adorable. MH went to work and the kids ended up at the grandparents so I'm enjoying the peace and getting some stuff done around the house.

Hello! I've been fighting tapa for 2 days.. It says the board doesn't exist and won't let me in. All my messages and notifications and everything is gone. Super annoying.

I ran to JoAnns first thing this morning. I had to get some vinyl. I'm making matching shirts for the bachelorette party next weekend. I'm regretting volunteering to do it lol. 15 shirts is a lot! Ugh. And of course it's a surprise for the bride and she's the one I share my cricut with. So she has it for making wedding stuff. So I borrowed a friend's cricut and heat press. And her heat press isn't as big so it's taking a while to iron each one. Blah. Mallory is currently napping and A took the boys to see the new Kong vs. Godzilla movie. He has been setting posts for the back deck the last 2 days but it's pouring now.

M's ball game got rained out yesterday and then we had a drive inn movie night with our PTO. It was a lot of fun and I met his new love interest.. She's a sweetie and so is her mom.

I'm also up for an officer position with the PTO. It'll get my another in with the school so I'm excited. There's a lot of changes happening within our district right now and being involved is the only way to get information.

I'm so sorry trtlcrzy. I'm glad her friends spoke up, that took courage. I hope she gets the help she needs.

So sorry about your friend tgrimes. That is awful. I hope they can get to the bottom of her involvement.

She has ADHD and is on anti anxiety meds. Come to find out she was only taking them like 2x a week instead of everyday like she was supposed to. My sister said they got in a fight that night about chores, nothing crazy. The people at the hospital said it was impulsive and not planned.
