Thanks for the check-in cali ! Currently 35w3d and I'm really feeling it these days! I'm constantly feeling exhausted, not getting full nights of sleep isn't helping with that heh. I wake up all the time having to go to the bathroom, or cause I'm so effing hot (some nights I soak through two nighties ugh), or nauseous, or all at the same time. Some days I've just been up for like an hour and feel ready for a nap already again Babygirl is pushing on my stomach a lot too which makes it hard to eat&drink, I'm nauseous more often then not and sometimes have to puke.. it's not fun. But, I'm just trying to take things as easy as I can and remind myself tis not too long now no more. MH is starting to feel a bit sorry for me since he can tell I'm having it rough here and there, which makes me feel slightly better funnily enough heh. There's another heatwave coming up this week and tbh I'm dreading it! This past Wednesday I went in for an extra CTG and fluid check. Babygirl did great on the CTG and my fluid level was the same as the week before so that was a relief. On Monday we have another OB appointment and they'll also check my fluidlevel and babies measurements etc again. They call it a biometrie echo here, is that what you call BPPs? We don't have any other CTG/NSTs scheduled at the moment, but I know I can call to come in whenever I feel I need the reassurance so that's good. And who knows what they will schedule after our appointment on Monday. I'm seeing my MFM on the 25th again.

1. How far are you now? 34+4 2. Symptom check: Swollen feet, swollen hands, trouble sleeping, sore hips while sleeping. 3. What and when is your next appointment? Friday for an u/s and regular appointment. Hoping to get my carseat put in too. 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? I'm under 40 days and it's freaking me out. The crib still isn't build and we're going away for a few days. I told DH I want it done so hopefully we'll do it today but who knows. I just want it finished because it's the last big thing. DH is the "it'll get done, don't worry" type of person where as I wanted to nursery done by the end of June which obviously didn't happen.

king26, oh yes, I totally forgot about the swollen feet and hands! I don't fit any of my regular shoes no more, it's ridiculous! And since I'm not allowed to wear flipflops or sandals due to my ankle being in a brace, none of those are an option boooo. I had to go and buy me a pair of sneakers in a bigger size LOL. As for the crib not having been put up: we didn't even purchase the crib yet! Does that help make you feel a little better? *G* The nursery is also FAR from being done.. I may regret nót stressing about it but currently just am too exhausted all the time to stress lol.

muscari, sorry you haven't been feeling well. Pregnancy is so hard on the body! king26, you've got plenty of time left! But I totally get the feeling of wanting everything done right now. AFM, I'm 38+2 and for the past 3 days have had BH contractions. They are annoying and useless really. I kept hoping it'll turn into something more, but they'll go away as quickly as they come. MH has accepted a new job in a neighboring state, so we'll be moving mid august! So, I wasn't really feeling the pressure to have this baby soon, but now I'm like lets go! Here's your eviction notice baby boy! I'm a little terrified about moving with a few week old baby, it's a 12 hour drive without any stops. It'll take a couple days for me to get there, but I'll have my MIL with me. One thing at a time. 😬

muscari, I'm sorry you're having a rough time right now. So soon, though! king26, my H is the same way with things, so I get it! I hope he gets the crib done for you soon. @easilyunamused, I hope your LO gets the eviction notice soon so you can start to get adjusted before the move. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

1. 24+1 2. Nothing major, but the exhaustion seems to be coming back. 3. I've got a regular OB appointment on the 24th. They'll be giving me the orders for the glucose test and rhogam. Fun.

How important is a glider/rocking chair? I want one but we don't have one yet. DH is looking for a vintage one and hasn't seen a reasonably priced one yet. Yes it does make me feel better muscari, However, we've had ours for about 10 weeks and it's driving me crazy. My parents bought it on sale and had it shipped to us. But at least the room is painted, furniture is in, clothes, bedding, blankets are all washed and put away. If I can JUST get this crib built I can do everything else myself! Wow you are brave moving with a newborn @easilyunamused, but that's great your H got a good job offer! Good luck on the 1 hour test bethkate,

Hi everyone!
I am 37wks 5ds today and MH is back from his long work trip so I can actually just rest! He cleaned, did laundry, and the yard! My hips and back still suck but knowing I don't have to do anything now is a big help. He is off now until late August. We both have some mini class to teach in the next few weeks but I can handle 2 days on my own...
Other than the constant pain I also got hives this morning. This boy needs to come out. I have been having real contractions for two days but nothing regular. The doctor said this can last week's. I am also 90 percent effaced and 2cm dilated as of Thursday.

muscari sorry you are feeling bad but glad to see the little girl is doing well! king26 do you have a basinet or are you just using the crib? We didn't put our girl in it until about 8 wks for naps upstairs but didn't really use it for months.

muscari, sorry to hear you're not feeling the greatest! king26, I used my chair quite a bit but probably didn't start until C was a month or so. It was a really comfy spot to nurse and if I got stuck in nap jail after that I knew I'd be comfortable (we got a really comfy one that reclines and has a foot rest). I use it now to read and rock him to bed. We've gotten so much use from it that I don't mind that we spent a little more on it than I was planning to. AFM, I'm 34 weeks today. Appointments have been going well and baby cooperated right away at the BPP on Friday. Heartburn comes and goes. Hip pain while sleeping is the norm now and I'm back to two wake ups per night to go to the bathroom. Other than that things are going well. I've been surviving the heat so far so hopefully this last month won't be too bad.

OMgosh @easilyunamused, that sounds intense, planning (and executing!) a move so soon after baby is born. But congratulations on YHs new job, that's awesome! I hope babyboy will make his appearance before too long. bethkate, FX you'll pass the glucose test without issues, and I hope exhaustion will stay at bay for a bit longer. king26, I sorta feel that way about getting the nursery emptied out.. there's still several storage shelving units with crap in there that need to GOOOOO. but since tis all heavy stuff I can't do anything myself. Once the room is empty I can at least clean, and will have a friend help with painting and putting together furniture and go from there. I have all her stuff washed and ready but nowhere to store it yet urgh. yellowcat, so glad YH is back and omgosh /envious for him being home that long! So sorry to hear about the hives though - is that pregnancy related (sorry if this is a stupid question heh)? Hopefully things won't continue to stall for too much longer and you will be able to hold your baby in your arms before long. Good luck and thinking of you! mrsrodgers, I was planning on getting a simple IKEA Poang chair (and the ottoman) for the nursery since they are well enough comfortable but I hadn't thought of getting stuck with a napping baby after nursing and I'm not sure whether I'd be comfi longer term in them as well... Definitely something to keep in mind, I hadn't thought of such before!

yellowcat, It sounds like you need to get the show on the road! LOL I hope he comes soon. I do have a bassinet and I built that myself so I know baby will have a place to sleep. It's really that I just want the nursery finished so I don't have to worry about it once the baby is here. muscari, I feel for you. I would be losing it if the nursery wasn't cleaned out. I hope you can get that finished soon!

muscari , I feel for you. I would be losing it if the nursery wasn't cleaned out. I hope you can get that finished soon! I had really hoped to tackle the last things this weekend/tomorrow, and was planning on doing the cleaning Tuesday and start painting Wednesday together with a friend. However, now with the upcoming heatwave the temperature would be too high to do any painting anyway.. so I guess in a way it doesn't matter. I WILL however push MH to get this sorted by the end of néxt weekend.. cause I just want to get it done! I don't care that baby won't be sleeping in her own room for the first weeks anyway, I just need it to be more or less finished. The house has been a proper mess for weeks now ever since I've been bed/chair-bound with my ankle, with furniture and stuff in odd places and what not, and I want it / need it to be back to some semblance of normal and tidy before baby comes?! /end rant

1. How far are you now? 26 weeks 6 days 2. Symptom check: feeling pretty good, tired. 3. What and when is your next appointment? next week for the glucose test 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? my sister is planning my baby shower. not sure about when it will be. I'm just getting together a list of people to invite. muscari, sorry you aren't feeling well but I'm glad baby is happy where she is right now!! king26, so close!! I am that way sometimes but I hope your H gets the crib put together to ease your mind!! Also, I should find a good rocker chair and add it to my registry! @easilyunamused, congrats to your H! I would be nervous having to move that far but once it's done, it's done. Hope baby doesn't make you wait too much longer bethkate, happy to see uneventful updates! yellowcat, sorry about the hip pain but at least your H can take care of things for you! mrsrodgers, glad you are feeling pretty good despite the heat! It's been really hot here. I was thinking the other day that come October, I will have been pregnant through all 4 seasons! crazy.

Quick update after today's BPP U/S and OB appointment. Babygirl is measuring right around the 50 percentile when it comes to growth and is doing great. Almost standard LOL. Bloodflow, cord&placenta etc checked out OK as well. My AFI actually went up some, though baby had an almost empty blatter so maybe that was why ;-) But either way they're not concerned about me leaking any more. On weekly appointments now so that also helps feel less stressed, and I know I can still always come in whenever I feel I need to for an extra CTG or AFI check. I feel pretty good and much more reassured and positive that we actually may make it a full 40 weeks now rather then have to deliver early.

muscari – solidarity. That’s all I got. king26 – I see your H and my H subscribe to the same annoying AF mentality that everything little thing is gonna be alright. NO. Build the damn crib, Mr. King. Rawr. As for glider/rocker, we still use ours to this day.. even if only for stories. I’d say it is an essential. yellowcat – uh, methinks that baby is coming sooner rather than later.

I’m 34+5. 30 days until RCS. Hips hurt, heartburn is insane, I’m tired, etc. etc. My H should be home (finally) soon, so I won’t be doing errythang on my own for that much longer. MFM for BPP tomorrow, and OB on Friday.

21w,4d Coasting along at the moment. Peeing a lot and having trouble finding comfy sleep positions. July 24th, repeat A/S since they didn't get the kidneys. Everything else looked great and all the bloodwork was fine so I'm looking forward to another viewing of unnamed baby boy. Still looking for a name. DD was so easy!

FWIW the rocker/recliner we bought was one of the most indulgent purchases we made and it has been worth every penny. We've both slept in it, we read books in it, it's really been worth our special order investment. New baby is getting all DD's furniture so we'll be getting more use out of it. I think we're going to get a toddler couch for her new room setup.

king26, I understand about just wanting things done. Now that I cannot do anything, I am fixated on all the projects and cleaning MH simply can't get to. He has asked if I want people to come early and help but the only ones I know will actually be useful (two of my sisters and my friend who just left!) cannot. Everyone else will be expected to be treated like guests or cannot handle taking care of a toddler. muscari,so glad things are looking good with baby girl! ketchup, Your H needs to get home now! Seriously, I was so happy to see him and then go to bed after driving home from the airport. Poor man, I think I didn't even kiss him!

I'm sorry I'm late to the check in but this week got crazy. Anyway, I'm 34w6d today. Had my NST this morning. Baby was being lazy so she had to get buzzed but then she woke up and everything looked good. I also got my approval from insurance for my breast pump (thanks again for that website rec @easilyunamused). I got the Spectra S2 because that's the version my insurance covered. I'm excited to get it!! MHtook today and tomorrow off work so we could finish baby stuff. I'm hoping to get the last of the nursery stuff done, the car seat bases installed in both cars, and the house totally cleaned. It's been a complete mess for weeks now and it's driving me batty! If we get all that done I'll be so very happy.

21 + 6, nothing going on next appointment isn't until August. We did decide to keep the pup we were fostering. We love him too much to let him go, as MH says 3 dogs and a baby. Should be an interesting fall in my house lol.

muscari, I'm so happy everything is looking good and I hope baby girl stays put for a while longer! king26, I hope DH got some stuff done! It is so stressful having that stuff unfinished. I obviously don't know yet about post-baby usefulness but I really love our glider that we got for the nursery. It's so comfy. @easilyunamused, wow, that is a lot! Congratulations on YH's new job. I hope the moves goes smoothly! bethkate, GL on the GTT! yellowcat, I'm so glad yh is back! Sounds like baby make be here soon!! mrsrodgers, I hear you on the nighttime hip pain. I have to switch from side to side every couple hours. I also am up to pee sooo much, like minimum four times a night. codex320, GL on the GTT! ketchup, I'm legit so excited for you to have Mr K back home! You need a break! kensie5226, we only have about a month until baby and I'm still not 100% on a name. It's so hard!!!

I hope your and YH were able to tick a lot of pre baby prep of the list today and tomorrow!
