Yay Friday. When I get off we will be heading down to my mom’s for the weekend. The boys are excited. Can’t wait for good food.

I'm so glad its Friday. This week has been long and exhausting.

Word has gotten out to everyone that I'm leaving. People are calling me, worried about the idiot taking my spot. I did offer to continue to work on a PT basis, to help through the transition, but I think my boss has too much of an ego to actually believe that they still need me, and he won't go for it. Which is whatever to me, I would be a favor to them.

No plans this weekend.

Happy Friday ladies! I might get a vaccine next week! The residential care part of my company is getting shots next week, since caretakers/medical professionals have already been vaccinated they’re giving ‘leftover’ vaccine to office staff members. Can’t say for sure if they’ll have leftovers, but still!

Quiet day today. I went to the Moroccan butcher/grocery store and got some nice bits and bobs for dinner for H and me. The kids will have poffertjes (a bit like silver dollar pancakes).

Baby girl has been tense, fussy and nursing is a challenge. I’m thinking of calling and osteopath Monday. Any of you girls have experience with this?

Morning! My parents had the kids overnight and I’m at the hair salon covering my grays again. I just saw a pharmacy in town has a bunch of openings for the vaccine next week so I texted my parents. Hopefully my dad will make an appointment. (My mom isn’t 65 yet). I’m so happy to see so many openings, I just hope they don’t go to waste in our super conservative county.

We’re taking the kids to an Airbnb next week for spring break so I need to finish packing today. I thought I was doing good keeping it minimal, until I started packing for myself. Oops.

Morning ladies. I'm trying to be positive but I work this weekend and I'm dreading it. I just worked the weekend before last so I don't feel mentally ready for the inevitable shitshow because they are such a disorganized mess.

PSA: Raya and the Last Dragon comes out on Disney+ today! It looks so good! I'll be pissed if the girls watch it without me. Also the finale of WandaVision which has been really good.

nam2013 I took B to the chiro many times as a baby and it was fine, he seemed relaxed after and it seemed to help a bit. It definitely cannot hurt to book an appointment.

I do not have experience with this but B had similar issues and I started doing a belly massage recommended here by I think wedding and that helped him. We still do it.  He calls it his belly bassage.

It looks awesome! That's our plan too. Popcorn and cuddling with all the pets (evening time is usually rat time   ). One of the best things about COVID has definitely been the home movie releases.

We were going to watch Flora and Ulysses tonight but maybe we will switch to Raya, too.
I had the most adult-y productive morning. I did my 30 minute workout, then, I met and signed contracts for new insulation for the basement and the attic and for new duct work for the bathroom ventilation system. Bye bye monies. Then (!!)) I opened my amazon package —our first roomba! I named him Ricky Zoom.

I've been putting off dealing with tech support for months for multiple issues. I tried about 2 weeks ago and my computer freaked out and did a blue screen for 4 hours. So I tried again and after an hour on the phone hopefully some of my issues are fixed. The tech kept commenting about how slow my computer is. Yep, it's over 10 years old. The military has a bazallion dollar budget yet my computer is not even good enough to be a paper weight. However, it's still better than the computers they have for us at the NG.

I managed to avoid parenting by sleeping from 1:30-5. Now I'm at swim with the girl and looking forward to a quiet evening and weekend.
I'm hoping the weather will stay nice so we can finally get Cadence out on her bike.

C is negative for Covid! He was actually pretty good today and spent a lot of time playing on his own. I really only had to do some art and an hour of football outside. I did note the cold exasperates his cough, which is mostly gone. That leads the Dr to believe it may be his asthma. So we will keep an eye on it.

Dh got good takeout Italian on his way him since he starts a new diet bet tomorrow. It was delicious.

Hello ladies! Work was odd today. The governor gave out guidance to open our business so everyone is buzzing when we I’ll announce opening.

L broke my trust today. He is allowed to play on his iPad after finishing his school work on it as long as he asks. I have unrestricted the iPad so he doesn’t have to come to me to access the approved apps. He decided to talk to his friend R before his reading time was over, tried to hide it from me and then lied about it. The iPad is now fully restricted except for his school reading app. I now have to unrestrict when he wants to use them. He earned it being unrestricted the first time and now he has to earn that back. I have a report ran and have seen he has not been doing his homework as much as he should have been.
