lahdeedah & vino, he tends to like shorter socks, but maybe I should get the higher ones. I tried the cat and jack and those were the ones I had to hand down. I also bought a bunch of amazon during the times I wasn't shopping in person and those shrunk like crazy too.

Cadence refuses all socks. In addition to most attributes that clothing has.

jewels, no boys but I have the same issue with the girls and socks. Kids socks are so small. I buy them adult socks now. Men's socks may be too big but women's socks might work. The girls mostly wear the same black ankle length socks I wear. Makes it a little easier when doing the laundry.

Yeah I stopped buying M low cut ankle socks. I buy him the higher ankle socks or the Nike crew socks when I can get them on sale.
I have bought from Costco before but I forget the brands.

Hey. S has her 5yr check up in a few minutes. She has to get all of her K shots so she’s going to be really mad at me. It’s super nice again so we will probably spend most of the afternoon outside.

trtlcrzy, nope. He did all sorts of illegal shit and never did more than some jail time. It was a small town and his parents were rich so I have a feeling the cops were paid off, or didn't care much about some drunk's death in their eyes. He drove drunk all the time and finally had his license taken away for years. Then he got a few DUI-ish infractions for drunk bicycling. My mom almost hit him when he was veering around traffic on his bike many times. Every now and then one of her friends would call her and say "I almost hit your ex today." He got beat up by drug dealers for being a moron and selling them baby powder. Amateur hour stuff. He would often just take off for months at a time and once when he went to SoCal he got arrested and jailed almost immediately. Kind of secured the idea in my mind that the cops were paid off in his town since the second he left he got arrested.

Because we were recently talking about it, I just listened to a podcast I came across about puberty and kids and how to approach it. For those of us who tend to not know how to go about it, it’s a good starting point I think. Probably a little more info for parents of girls, but if interested it’s the raising good humans podcast about puberty. Just thought to share.
