I’m drinking mimosas while doing laundry and cleaning. Trying to soak up the last few hours of freedom I have. I... would not use freedom time to clean lol I know, I know. But it has to get done. |

Did I tell y’all what MH did to me yesterday? I had to drop my car off to get an oil change so he followed me over there and we went to a diner for breakfast. He told me he needed to do a couple thing at his office before Monday and if I was there to help, it would only take an hour.
Spoiler alert:
1 hour was actually 6 hours. I was not delighted. I had big plans of sitting on my ass yesterday.

I’m getting really annoyed with all of the streaming services. The Real World is doing a reunion where the first season cast in NY move back in after 30yrs. But it’s only on Paramount + which is a minimum of $4.99 a month. They are also doing the iCarly reboot that C wants to watch. Also Discovery + had all of these 90 Day Fiancé follow ups I want to see. We already have Apple +, Netflix, HBO Max, and another year on our cable contract. It’s really getting ridiculous!

Dh and C are going to test out Cs new bike. I need to go to Target to return a couple of things. The house is being painted tomorrow so I need to pick up the paint and we need to take the pictures down. I’m excited to have it done but I am still nervous about the color.

SIR. He kept telling me he was almost done. I did leave because I had a grocery pickup at 1 on our side of town. I took the groceries home and went to get him because he told me he’d be done by the time I got back.  |

I rotated the kids books today and Julia pulled out the four Nancy Tillman books we have, I’m glad she did they’re such beautiful books and the kids are old enough now to understand the meaning. Those are my favorite to read. |

MH is at a 6 mo memorial service for his aunt. The kids are taking turns being absolutely awful. Like C had a full blown tantrum because it's not fair Blippi gets to go snowmobiling. Then I was taking ibuprofen for the massive headache they caused and A had a tantrum because I wouldn't give him any of the pills.

tgrimes grr! I'd be so mad! I'm annoyed at my husband as well. Madison occasionally gets a rash in her pits (knee and elbow area). It's nothing bad so I get out the good lotion and tell her to try one for a couple days and we'll move onto another if it doesn't work. She shows MH the rash and I'm right around the corner and he goes on about how I don’t know what I'm talking about and lotion isn't going to cure this and basically makes her think it's something serious that needs medical attention. Most fucking minor rashes can easily be cured with OTC creams. This is not rocket science. He definitely inherited his somatization from his mother and it really irks me when he wants to pass on the crazy to the girls. Of course it's a sensitive subject to bring up because he will never admit the issues his mother had and idolizes his parents in his mind. The multiple times she was medically cleared for her various bizarre "ailments" and then sent for prolonged psychiatric hospitalizations should have made it obvious, but he certainly won't listen to me about these matters when he wouldn't listen to multiple physicians.

vino I have definitely spent extra time in grocery store/target parking lots lately. We get the alone time however we can! MH just remembered that today would have been his mother's 80th birthday and he is (rightfully so) in a funk. He just went out for a walk. I asked him if he wanted to do something tonight with the kids to honor her and she said he didn't know. I think he is also upset that he forgot it was even her birthday. I dunno, I feel bad for him. And of course tonight is the zoom shiva for my grandma so I'm sure that's not helping. (he really loved my grandma)

Helping bil move again today. Should be done in about an hour. Thank God. My body is beat. We moved them from 9-9 yesterday. Pausing only a half hour for lunch and dinner. Then started again af 10am this morning.

My H has this crazy idea that we need to move. We have spent most of the weekend driving around looking at new neighborhoods. Im exhausted and don't want to move. We did see 1 I really liked, but there is a special tax on it that kind of turns me off of the neighborhood.

The school board recently redid our boundaries and Evie will be switching to a new school. Some people were excited about it because we will be far enough now, free bussing. But we wouldn't use the bus so that doesn't matter. What does is that the new school is on the other side of the highway, which has a lot of accidents at the intersections. So he was looking at ranches (specifically with both their knees) that would allow her to stay at her current school or move closer to the new school and not cross the highway. The out of pocket earnest $$ plus increase in monthly mortgage payment makes me say fuck no. Im guessing our payment would increase 500 to 600 minimum, monthly. I did email our lender, just to ask, and put this to rest. I really don't want to move. |
