It snowed again last night here for what feels like the 800th time this year. My kids don't even want to play in it anymore... they are over it.

Morning had a crappy night with baby girl & woke up to a crying 4yo, she woke up with a runny nose and knows she isn’t allowed to go to school with one. It was heartbreaking, she was so upset & sad. Called school to let them know she wasn’t coming in. Around 9 no sign of a runny nose whatsoever. I think the cold room and crying made it look like she had a cold. I hate this stress for a 4yo 😞.

We took the sled to pick up ds from school again, it was so lovely outside. It has been a long time since we’ve seen this kind of winter weather.

Cold and about to start getting gross over the next couple of days, freezing, sleet, ice. Perfect time to move offices.

Sucks more for the actual movers, but yeah. I'm not looking forward to it. It's going to be complete chaos and people seem to be trying to load up personal items now and then disappear come tomorrow to leave it all in my hands.

Evie had PT at 8 this morning. She just left with FIL and SMIL to spend the day and night with them. So I can work in quiet.

We picked up 177 boxes of Girl Scout cookies last night. I've distributed to our neighbors already, now I have to figure out how to get them to everyone else. I don't mind the sales portion of these things, but distributing them is another. Plus it's going to be so cold this weekend, when we will likely run around to make deliveries. I'm going to try to do local friends/family today and tomorrow.

It's still cold af here and B has half days on Thursday's so I left it up to him if he wanted to go into school, after a long grueling decision process he decided to stay home. So he is watching Food Network, he loves it, cracks me up. J said that she 'needed' to go and play with her friends so my big idea of not going out at all kinda was achieved only half way.

After a routine blood test for Zoe and after a call back I authorized a test to check for cancer, ugh I have everything crossed that she is ok.

Other than that just a regular work from home day over here.

We have mini ski mountains on either side of our house from the plow guy pushing it down the driveway. I feel like at this point it might be May when it melts.
We had a delay this morning, and it was nice to sleep in a tiny bit, but I really need an hour or so in the morning by myself, so as nice it was to sleep in, I don’t like waking up to the go-go go.

guster I probably could, but I feel like since people supported Evie, I should put the effort into delivery. I do have some friends coming by to get their cookies, or have offered to meet me part way. It's just cold and I don't want to go outside!

A took the day off and gave his guys a day off because of an ice storm by his jobsite. He wanted me to go to the hardware store with him and I noped right out of that.. its 17 degrees! I'll stay home with MJ thank you very much.

mwhip Zoe is my 13 year old little tuxedo cat. After everything that happened with Pete last year I asked for a full blood panel last fall and I’ve been treating her for a few issues and she’s been doing great. Apparently some of her levels have been dropping and this blood test will determine whats up.

The weather man for us can’t make up his mind. Every other day it changes from maybe snow, no snow, rain, now we are at wintry mix for Monday. So still a maybe?? M is already DL that day for Presidents’ Day, so it won’t affect our day much. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Hi.

I’m very head scratchy at M2’s daycare today. Last night at 8pm they send a letter out on the app saying that they have to shut down for two weeks because of the outbreak. I can’t say I didn’t see it coming, but we haven’t heard of any new cases since Monday- the total count was at 13. In this letter, it says because they have 6 cases, the health department recommends they close for 14 days. 🤔 The sixth case was like a week and half ago. Cue my confusion. In every note about a new case, it said they reported it to the health department and they recommended a voluntary quarantine. Something is not right, which is the hunch I had and why I kept him home this week, but he’ll be home for the next two weeks. Good thing I didn’t have any scheduled work days, but I also can’t be available either.

Fun times.

Awww vino, she's beautiful. I hope she's okay. I had a cat a long time ago that was black and white...the sweetest thing ever. I'd love to get another cat, but H is strongly anti cat, so it likely will never happen. I also don't know how my 2 dogs would handle a cat as they've never been around one.

I have no clue. Their communication is not great and I feel like admin doesn’t take covid all that serious. When we first started getting cases there. She sent out a letter asking the parents at drop off and pickup to mask up. But then the next day, MH dropped off and she is out there without a mask.

And the other day her FB post stated... We cannot stop the spread of the virus. 🤔 Well that’s false, because it is possible if you quarantine the affected classes. We could have less cases and maybe the whole center wouldn’t have had to close for two weeks.

vino he is fine, thanks for asking. The Pedi basically said we could test or not, since we are quarantining anyway it didn't matter. For piece of mind I got all 3 of us tested yesterday. Rapid came back negative and we are waiting on the PCR test.

After we got tested I got more info about the case at school and I am not really worried. Looks like the person was last in class on Friday and developed symptoms on Sunday, tested Monday. So he probably wasn't even exposed. They are waiting on further information from the Board of Health about how long they remain closed for.

I'm glad it came back negative jewels. Hopefully everyone else is ok and everyone can get back on track in a couple weeks.
