He’s gone on this fishing trip every year for 10+ years and Never brought home any fish....😑 it’s just a reason to drink and play cards for a whole weekend. Haha.
You’d think living in MN would toughen me up, but I hate outdoor winter activities. My girlfriend used to ask me to go snowshoeing and I finally had to be honest and tell her I just don’t like being outside in the winter.

All the talk about snow and I went to weather . com to gloat. Yeah...our temps are basically being cut in half next week. There will be no gloating.  |

Washer and dryer are here and the first load is going. My sisters kids were supposed to be picked up at 3 but now it will be after 5. Everyone was playing well but then I heard fighting and crying so now they are all watching a movie.

I figured as much, but man I can think of much more comfortable ways to chat and drink. Don't give in. My girlfriend got me to snowshoe last year. It sucked. Apparently there are good snowshoes and crappy snowshoes and the agency we went through supplied us with crappy snowshoes. A recurring nightmare I have is basically feeling like I'm stuck in slow motion or glue or something when trying to move. That's what snowshoeing felt like. |

I think it was guster who recommended The Imposters. Thanks for the rec, I'm enjoying it. OMG I just started watching this last night. I hadn't seen it was recommended but just was searching for something MH and I might both enjoy. We just watched the first episode but it seems good so far! |

slenle I'm laughing at the "not enjoying outdoor activities in the cold". Don't blame you but obviously my blood is very thin! Are you from MN originally? +1 to ice-fishing sounding like (frozen) hell on earth. tgrimes I'm sorry this semester is such a mess. Poor kids. That teacher sounds...special. You'd think they could make an exception and hire someone since it's a 1-for-1 hire with the old teacher moving.

SSDD here. But it was sunny and high 30’s so I was able to walk with my neighbor and it’s Thursday so I picked up C and we did a little hike. It was so nice to be outside. I need to get this kid in the tub!

Maybe one of them will be able to speak to her calmer. There have been several emails to the VP & P. I spoke to her previous teacher today and she said the principal could have made exceptions to keep her on, and he didn’t. That sent me over the edge. I know our PTO is trying to get him ousted and our VP promoted. I’m outraged and he’s going to hear about it! |

We’ve been lucky with a pretty mild winter so far, but the next 10 days won’t hardly get above 0. I’m Ready for spring any day now. |

Hi! I’m so far behind here.
I got a call from a lawyer yesterday. I apparently been served for the accident back in 2019. He told me not to worry yet because he thinks he can get it settled before it goes anywhere near the court.
Work is crazy busy. I can’t do any overtime but I have more work then can be done in 8 hours.
Plus I really dislike my classes right now.
I’m making brownies for a friend then heading to bed.

I can attest that ice fishing sucks. I mean the last (and I think only) time I went was went I was like 12, but I absolutely won’t do it again. I also hate sitting outside in the cold and fishing so there’s that. I’m pretty sure my little sister and I just ran around on the ice the whole time.
I have never been skiing or snowboarding but I would like to try that at some point. I am afraid of heights and the chair lift gives me the willies just looking at it so I don’t know how good of an idea that would be. Snow tubing and sledding is fun.

They can’t even vote on a superintendent. The downside of living in the largest school district in TX. |
