So should we do an announcements thread or just put the stuff here? Asking for obvious reasons. 😂

Hanging in there! A is an absolute dreamboat, the big is OBSESSED with him, and basically all kinds of glamorous postpartum shenanigans going on. 😂

Doing good! I’m finally moving around a bit better and Ava has been doing well in the NICU. Just waiting for her to grow and be ready to eat on her own. She is too sleepy now to even try. It’s been a challenge trying to balance the two kids at home and spend a ton of time with her as well so that has been hard.

Made it to 32 weeks as of yesterday! That was the biggest milestone my docs kept mentioning when I was in the hospital. My OB said "then we can get greedy and hope for 36", so here's hoping!

I’ll be 36 weeks tomorrow and oooof. Everything hurts. I have an appointment on Thursday and I have to see a doctor for the first time. So far I’ve seen midwives. I guess it’s protocol for a doctor to go over the risks of a VBAC. I’m just terrified for another csection. But also scared for a VBAC so just generally anxious. I thought the second time I wouldn’t be nervous for birth since I’ve been there done that but man. Anxiety. Hope everyone else is hanging in there!

Sorry if this is more of a ramble. Im 34 weeks today. I’m starting NSTs this Friday. I have officially 3 weeks to go. Last time they checked I was still closed and long so I’ll hopefully make it to my scheduled csection. They did tell me babies are on the bigger side. Not huge. But they told me I for sure won’t be having premie size babies lol. Last week baby girl was 4ish lbs and baby boy was 5ish. 😬 buuut she says they normally taper off on growth towards the end because they run out of real estate in there. MFM isn’t worried though. She says she prefers twins on the bigger side than the smaller side. I don’t know. I just smile and nod. I do make somewhat big babies. c was not tiny. We aren’t a small fam. Lol
I’m over it tbough. I’m awake most nights and nap during the days now. It sucks.

Hugs miawallace. Maybe they'll be perfect babies for the trouble? 🤣 But seriously, all the sympathy for the endgame of pregnancy. It's no fun with a singleton, you have more than every right to complain about it with two. 💕

I was looking back at my bump pictures from last time and put together this 32 week comparison of the twins vs this guy. The second pregnancy pop is no joke. 😅

miawallace I’ve been having them too. I’m 36 weeks and going to have them twice a week now. Out of curiosity how does it work with twins? Do you get two heart monitors?

miawallace I’ve been having them too. I’m 36 weeks and going to have them twice a week now. Out of curiosity how does it work with twins? Do you get two heart monitors? I never got a chance to answer this. Sorry. So last week they put two monitors on me. It was hard to find their heartbeats with one of the nurses, but then another one came in and she set it up fast. It took about 25 minutes that go around. I drank cold water and that did the trick. With C it was easier because it was just her. I did have to lay on my back last Friday and that was not fun, so I was glad the nst was over relatively quick.
