We are in the middle of a big storm. Josie has a half day of virtual school, but MH and Charlie are off. I hope we can get outside later, but the wind is supposed to pick up.

guster us too. S has a half day virtual, and B is home with me. MH took him out to shovel and he came inside crying about 15 minutes later saying this snow was too cold and he only likes warmer snow lol. So now I've set up a little school set up for him to color while I work and S does school. My dining room table is quite cluttered lol

Morning! Nothing exciting here. I'm in the process of finding a new lawyer because mine has not been responsive lately and I have to email twice to get a reply. Last week we were supposed to have a zoom call and she never told me when she's available.

Snow day here too. M's teacher sent home snow day packs months ago so it'll count as a school day. It'll take him 10 minutes max. And then he's supposed to do 45 minutes on freckle and razkids. I had planned a trip to tjmaxx but I didn't know everything was going to freeze over. So I'll go another day. I started my period this morning so I'm cramping and grouchy.. great day to be house bound with all 3 of my kids.

It's not even really snowing here yet but they decided last night to do distance learning today. I'm annoyed. They could have gotten there and called an early dismissal if necessary since its not supposed to get heavy until the afternoon. C is doing much better with DL than in the past, so that is helpful. DH stupidly went to work today. Boston will be hit harder than us and it's going to be the worst at rush hour. But he is a stubborn man and is certain it will be fine. I hope he leaves early at least.

wineallthetime I hope you find a lawyer who is there for you and has your best interests. Have any of your friends used one recently or could recommend someone? Or even a FB group, an anonymous post searching for one. Just another annoying AF work day for me. I sent out a bunch of resumes yesterday, I'm hoping to hear something this week. Our school board eliminated all gating criteria last week, so all schools are back in person learning. It's been such a shit show. If nothing else, the adults in this town taught their kids if they complain enough, they will get their way, even if it isn't in the best interest of everyone as a whole.

It’s my last full week scheduled here. I’m counting down to my days off with the house to myself next week. Not much else going on.
M was pissed I made him wear a sweatshirt to school today. It’s the coldest day of the week, but he was pouting and on the verge of tears about not having a regular shirt. 🙄 Why are kids so picky about the small things??

Morning. It’s my last full week scheduled here. I’m counting down to my days off with the house to myself next week. Not much else going on. M was pissed I made him wear a sweatshirt to school today. It’s the coldest day of the week, but he was pouting and on the verge of tears about not having a regular shirt. 🙄 Why are kids so picky about the small things?? Oh and Cadence is in the phase where she says she hates school and feels like she does everything around the house(um, sure Jan!) and so she is moving out. She said I need to come home with a big tent and a refrigerator so she can move into the back yard. I told her she would need to start paying rent, since she will be running electrical for her fridge she'll need to pay for part of our electricity. Since she still wants to use our bathroom facilities, she'll need to pay for water. And since she apparently expects me to deliver food to her, she will need to pay for that service as well. She said she had plenty of money for all that and to not be surprised if I come home and she is in the back.
....This is a phase, right?

But so important to them Ds threw a fit two weeks ago about the clothes I picked out for the photoshoot, green skinnies and a navy shirt, staring it was a ridiculous outfit. He has had the same exact pair of pants since he was 3 or something (different size of course)... I swapped it for a blue pair and a green shirt. He was fine then... kids 🤨. |

SSDD over here, slammed at work after a busy weekend. We bought a new truck on Friday and I am dreading calling the insurance, there is always a wait time and it'll be such a long call to go over details.....uuuuuuughhhhhhh.

We are getting hit hard by the snow storm right now. We had virtual school this morning but they canceled tomorrow already for fear of power/wifi outages. DD discovered one of the mice was dead in the middle of virtual school so that wasn’t fun. inthekitty my rodent expert, do I get a new one so the other one has a friend again because they were always snuggled up or will the other one be mad about a replacement? |

Hey hey. Today is one of those days where we hit the high temp at 7 am. It’s in the 40s now and still dropping (yes, I know, that is child’s play to some of y’all!) The wind is crazy, too. I got groceries this am and took C to Target to get her valentines after preschool. Now we’re just hanging out til B gets home. wineallthetime yeah, sounds like someone different might be the ticket. I feel like organization and timeliness are pretty important in an attorney. mwhip sorry work has been such a slog lately, hope something better comes along very soon. |

Speaking of being slow to respond...I’m trying to buy a dining room table and 8 chairs from this girl on FB marketplace. Really nice brand and appears to be in great shape, it’s kind of a steal and I have no chill about it.

Hey, everyone is back to school today. H has a haircut appt after she gets home this afternoon. I want to take a shower at some point before then but V is not cooperating with nap-time. I have decided to start eating healthier and am planning to start exercising this month. I’ve put it off for too long and I want to fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes. wineallthetime I hope you can find someone more reliable. |
