I found out my grandniece calls my stepdad Big Papa. Lolz. I love it when she calls him Big Poppa.

Hi. A kid in L’s class tested positive yesterday so I’m distance learning L the rest of this week and all of next. The school made it optional. C thinks we should have sent him. The last day this kid was in class was Friday.
I know which kid it is, I asked L who was missing. And I always see this kid with his mask beneath his nose at pickup so I’m thinking there might be more cases soon at the school.

Hi hi - not much new here, I found out about preschool that is offering a 10 week 3 hour a day mostly outdoor option for the spring for N. I am intrigued.. could be a good entry into society again. I feel like the light at the end of the tunnel is getting further away being the last in line for vaccines..like maybe by late summer I will be eligible 😐 Also trying to plan something for spring break, thinking maybe a house in the outer banks, it'd hopefully be warmer than here, even if not real beach weather. Anyone else planning anything? I feel like the light is getting further away now that we have a "more deadly" variant in my area that the vaccine may not protect against. Wtf!? Go away Covid. |

snoopmommymom hope you can get an appointment soon! Are you in NJ? My cousin is in person teaching and it's stressing me out that she hasn't gotten one yet. MH cannot get an appointment. They go so quickly. |

Totally random, but the girls and I have been enjoying coloring together lately. It's calming and relaxing amongst a lot of craziness (both of my jobs have been insane lately). They prefer colored pencils and adult coloring books. I'm ordering a huge box of colored pencils and new books for Valentine's Day. Good Rona activity. You can even do it while watching Moana.  |

Just got the call. One case at Josie’s school (rumor is it’s a teacher) and they are remote til 2/5.

One of the activities they do at school is directed drawings and one of S first days home he asked me to do it with him. I’m no artist, but I enjoyed it.
We also picked up a game called Legos creationary where you roll a die and get a category then pick a card and have to build what’s on that card. If people can guess it you get a point. I’ve been enjoying building random crap with him. It’s nice to sort of turn my brain off and focus on something mundane
