I also often get boy sized shoes to save a little. I wear a 7.5-8 in women’s and a 6 in kids. Must be nice 😜

My summer lewk was a Hilfiger dress with fresh white Classics and a silver figaro chain. Late nineties fiyah. Throw a Nautica jacket over it when you’re drinking in the woods. This exchange is really bringing me to a moment. It's so class of 99 it's palpable.

That’s awesome, fb ! How are you feeling? Thank you! I'm feeling great. The first week after surgery was possibly the worst week of my life (emotionally and physically) but it's gotten so much better from there. I finally feel like I can move and enjoy stuff and I'm already going down in clothes sizes and just overall feel SO great. I'm 7 weeks out now!

Around the two month mark seems to be the turning point of feeling like a real human again. You’ve done the hardest part now!

OMG I think my 1st grader is a 3.5/4 I remember squeezing my feet into too small Air Force whatever basketball shoes in 6th grade to save some money because I was already out of kids sizes. Probably why I was on the C team 😂

Holy moly your kids have some big feet 😂 DS1 juuust got new sneakers, they're size 2. He's 8. 🤷♀️
But this really is exciting here though lol. I'm always pining over the kids Vans colors but never thought they went big enough! Haha off to explore!

Oh yes my 6th grader wears the same shoe size as me. And he did steal my Vans slip-ons! But he is an actual skater, so he wrecks shoes at a really incredible pace. The last pair lasted two months before he wore a hole completely through the sole of one and the toe of the other.
I never ever occurred to me that "kid" sizes were priced lower, I will definitely look at that next time I need new shoes.

These are Sonoma brand from Kohl’s but they’re my comfy running errands shoes - on days that don’t require snow boots.

I always thought I couldn’t get kids sizes because I wear a 8.5 or 9 in women’s but I was at the under armour outlet (last year) and saw a pair of workout shoes in the girls section I really liked and to my shock the size 6 fit. They were my favorite workout shoes. I ordered a second pair in a different color.
I think they were $30 at the outlet. Can’t beat that.

I’ve tried on several pairs of the Adidas Cloud Boost over the years and couldn’t find the right fit. My favorite athleisure shoes were ASICS Metrolyte. I went through two pairs, and then they discontinued them. 🙄 I got a pair of woven New Balance pull-on sneakers last fall that have been very disappointing. They get dirty easily, aren’t super comfortable, and I think they look geriatric. Just not cushioned enough. I just ordered these: (giant link inside) Adidas Ultraboost 19 They have good reviews, so I hope they’ll fit. I end up doing a ton of walking and/or biking almost every day with my kids when the weather is nice, so I need my athleisure to be on the more functional side. These are probably overkill, but I liked how they looked.

Shout out to my fellow size 10 ladies. We can’t shop in the kids’ section. And no shoes look dainty and cute on us.

Has anyone found some magical, wonder socks that work with all these cute sneakers? I feel like I buy a new pair every month and they never stay put. Looking for a more low profile sock....

Bookshelves I love my Ultraboost but wear them for exercise. They are way more supportive than the cloud boost.

I bought these and have worn them with three different pairs of athleisure shoes, and they are amazing!! No show, no slip, no readjusting during the day. I LOVE them!

Back with another question. I have some cute chunky sneakers. I've been tying them like normal but I recognize the more stylish way is to knot the laces, with the laces a bit more loose. Looks super cute, however it's a loose fit and my heel keeps slipping out. Is there a trick to keeping my foot in my shoe, but with the laces knotted on both sides?
