Hiiii from the couch. I have watched a lot of Ninja Warrior with Colin and now a Sponge Bob movie. We also went for a hike with DH, got both vehicles in for Emissions, renewed the truck's registration, played marbles, and did some laundry. I've also been texting with my girl friends all day since it's baby day. She labored all day but is now heading in for a C, so baby should be out soon!!
I feel a bit guilty for dropping Chase at daycare but it was nice not hearing them fight all day. Plus his teacher had them watch the I Have A Dream speech and the did a MLK Jr. themed banner. I am curious to hear his take on it all.

We were all off today. T’’s 2 friends came over and played outside for almost 3 hours. It was cold but he needed that.
DH is cooking now. We have been eating dinner like old people between 4 and 5 pm since we are all home all the time and I love it.
There is a meeting about returning to school on Thursday night. I fear the answer will be we are never returning.

S goes back in person tomorrow. It's just a 4 hour day 2 x per week but I am very excited. He has only been in school 5 half days since March 12. It's so crazy that we are coming up on a year.
Our superintendent sent a letter to the governor today complaining about the lack of vaccines for teachers and asking why, if schools remaining open is a priority, aren't they getting them. I doubt anything will happen but still, it would be amazing if all the teachers could get vaccinated and school could remain open for more than a week or 2.

Z’s teacher tested positive so she has to quarantine this week and part of next week. jewels We are having the same problem here. My county tan out of vaccines, our state supply is low, and many of us working in schools cannot get an appointment. We’ve had a lot of cases at my school recently and the Superintendent refuses to have us go virtual. We literally have around 35 kids coming in each day out of over 1300. It’s mostly all staff in the building but the cases are still spreading.

Hey. I tried to check in earlier but duty called and I never got to it. The kids didn’t fight too much today, thankfully. My sister invited us to go sledding after lunch, so the kids did that while we sat in the car with V and watched. S had the class stuffy for the last week and before she returns it tomorrow I had to get pics printed and write up a little note of things we did while it was with us. I hate getting homework from preschool. lfig I hope infusion is still on for S.

that's crazy snoopmommymom. I'm sorry. Maybe I missed it, but did you say if you've been able to get it yet? I haven’t gotten it yet. I was hesitating because I’m allergic to penicillin and had anaphylaxis. Seeing people having severe allergic reactions to the vaccine gave me pause. But now i want to get it and get it administered at a hospital just in case. No appointments though.
