sally I am glad your surgery went well and I hope you’re cycle goes ahead as planned. I am looking into seeing a Reproductive Immunologist and I have requested a consult with a Fertility Clinic in Vancouver. I have found one RI clinic in California that will do virtual appointments for out of the country patients so I am going to contact them tomorrow and get some more information.

I'm here.
I called my RE. They're tentatively scheduling my HSG for my next CD2. The radiologist is legit squeezing me in because I called hyperventilating crying.
Related, my RE thinks that my 6 day late period may have been a MC. I don't get it because I never tested positive, but he said something about my body may have been pg, but the embryo just never let off any hormones? Or let off just enough to where I didn't get a period, but not a + test? I dunno, he said MC over the phone bc I'm in quarantine and my mind just kind of went blank.
TTC really blows.

Sorry lemondrop. I hope your body cooperates and your CD2 comes on time. I had an appointment with my RE and it was recommended to me to do an ERA. The cost is CRAZY!!!! Their finance lady was telling me depending on my medical history with my obgyn it could be billed to insurance (since I no longer have any fertility coverage wtf). Anyway, so I called my obgyn and they don't have any available appointments until JULY???!!!! My gosh. I found out the the NP that I love there no longer works there so that is probably why the appointments are so far out.

TTC really does blow. I do think it’s a little strange that your RE mentioned mc, but I don’t know all the details- if you were tracking and you know when you ovulated and you were 6 days late that makes sense, but if you were 6 days later than you usually are without tracking that could be a number of things (which I’m sure you already know). I can imagine it would be difficult to hear especially if you weren’t expecting it.

I temp and use OPKs, so I'm pretty certain I ovulated when I did (I always ovulate around day 17-18, which shortens my LP so I'm constantly testing to see if I ovulate early). But yeah, it definitely threw me.

sally I hope you can proceed next cycle with a transfer. As for an RI, I have found there are only 4 in the US and only 1 will do all virtual appointments. I am on a waiting list for him, and I heard it’s about 3-4 months (it’s located in California). I have an appointment with my GP today for a referral to Vancouver and we are still waiting to hear from the other clinic we were referred to in December. So for now, we are at a stand still.

How's everyone doing this week? I'm supposed to be getting my period this week, and then I'm a go for rescheduling my HSG for 7-10 days from then. This waiting game is driving me crazy. First they wanted it on CD2, and had penciled me in, but then the admin called me and said it needed to be between CD7 and CD10. Has anyone else had one that was that late? codex320 - were you able to find a new ERA provider?

lemondrop sorry for all the waiting and different information. I can’t really remember what day my HSGs were done on though. I need to call my OB’s office this week and see if I can get a hysteroscopy. She has done an HSG before, but not this. I did all my blood work for RPL, but so far everything I am able to see has come back normal. Our consultation with the fertility clinic is at the beginning of March.

lemondrop thanks for asking! We have this weird fertility only insurance coverage and they specifically say they don't cover era testing. Unfortunately the clinic that I am going to doesn't participate with the fertility insurance so they are all oop anyway. So I guess we just have to decide if we should do it or not. I'm also just thinking that I'm so afraid of having a failed fet again. Ugh.

lemondrop forgot to say, I think the hsg is normally done between cd 7-12? I got my period yesterday, so it's scheduled for next Thursday - the 25th. So CD9. Now I'm wondering if the scheduling person last time was confused about what I was getting done when I was told CD2? Either way. Blahh.

Carmichael, I know a handful of people in KC who have seen Dr. KK in Chicago. I've heard she is really good. It sounds like some serious dough, though. I, too, have been considering going down this path. I'm terrified at the thought of the cost, though.

Welp, the same exact thing happened this pregnancy as last time. I lost it some time after my 6w4d ultrasound and my 7w4d ultrasound. I just found out on Monday, so obviously I'm still processing. However, with three embryos left, clearly more would need to be done to fix this issue. I'm pretty sure my body is treating the embryo as a foreign object. I'm going to reach out to a couple of RIs here. I'm leaning towards one in Detroit. Carmichael, how did your consult go with the one in California? How is everyone else doing? I need some good news.
