I'm so thankful when they do the voiceovers over the making out. The slurping smacking noises are too much

OMG this Sarah chick is too much. I really hope she doesn't have a "change of heart" and come back later in the season. (that's a thing that's been done before right?)

Dale posted on his Instagram that he and Clare broke up. Guess they weren’t soul mates.

Dale posted on his Instagram that he and Clare broke up. Guess they weren’t soul mates. I was actually thinking about them during last night's episode and almost googled because I was certain they were broken up already. They lasted much longer than I ever expected.

I might be an emotional softie, but I saw the Sarah thing differently. It seemed excessively needy to seek him out, don’t get me wrong, but I could also see myself thinking, if I knew my dad was dying at home, is it worth it to stick it out here when he could very easily be more in love with one or more of these other women and cut me several weeks from now? AND then the girls are all being bitchy to me and making me feel ostracized? I do think a lot of her initial need for validation was likely her starting to go down the path of not wanting to waste time away from her family if the future wasn’t there (and knowing how much the show messes with you) and then the girls just pushed her over the edge. I can see all 3 things being equal reasons for her leaving. And those girls were MEAN. Bitching her out as a group, refusing to talk to her, and then having the audacity to be surprised that she locked herself back in her room and didn’t come back down the next morning. I was so glad Katie reached out to her and was able to connect with her before she left, especially since Katie is the only one who really got “betrayed” by having her 1:1 time interrupted. She showed up on a date she wasn't supposed to be at right after having her own date. I am not surprised they were mad. I get it, I would have been mad too, and I do see the flipside. I am not a Sarah fan, I was annoyed by her dramatics during the entire episode and was really glad she left at the end and didn't decide to stay. I just think the ongoing piling on was what bothered me. She apologized at the date, everyone told her not accepted, which makes sense. So she hid in her room for a bit which was prob not the best move, but I think this is where some of the home feelings are impacting her choices (which I know the group doesn't know). Then she tried to apologize again when confronted and the whole group yelled at her (or maybe a few loud ones, but no one left the group so basically cosigned the message). Then people refused to even engage with her when she tried to pull them aside one-on-one to talk it out. Then they all complained that she was hiding in her room again. I'm sure they were just feeling angry, and had it been a handful of people it might have come across differently to me. It just felt like a very prolonged attack by the entire group and regardless of what Sarah's intentions were, it felt like too much, more than standard drama between women on the show. I do agree that Matt made it so much worse by seeking her out. They might have let it go faster if he hadn't added more insults to the initial injury.

I have never watched this show before but I'm running out of things to watch so I'm jumping in.
Watching the first episode now and I'm cringing so hard at some of these first meets. Although I have no idea what I would try to do to make a memorable first impression, so I guess I shouldn't judge.

Does Matt actually pick who goes on the dates or do the producers?

I get all this but she hid in her room until he came to pick up Serena and then wanted reassurance again. I’m not saying the pile up or whining about her not wanting to sit with them isn’t bad because it is but again I’m assuming this is something that has been brewing and it was an I see you.

And while she doesn't have to tell anyone about her home issues and her dad, it could have helped them better understand why she was extra over the top emotional! exactly. She could have simply said I have a family emergency happening at home that is making this hard and why I need to be sure I am doing the right thing staying here and left it at that. I don't think all would have felt bad (Victoria) but most would have understood more.

You'll actually stand out from the crowd by being normal!

I'm not 100% sure since I'm hearing bits and pieces through someone but according to friend's sister, they all were quarantined for the 2 weeks. She wasn't picked for the initial group but also wasn't sent home. I don't know how much she actually knew about what was going on.

So apparently Spencer from Tayshia's part of the season asked out Claire. After it was out that Claire and Dale had broken up he tagged her on his IG story with "coffee?" (according to People mag)

So wait. They're bringing in 5 new women?? Is that normal? No, not normal. I don't think they have ever done that before (my memory sucks so I could be wrong). Sometimes they have random people from previous seasons come in that *really* want a chance with whatever bachelor or bachelorette it is.

So reality Steve posted an email someone sent to him about posting a public apology from him for going so hard on the readers who questioned Claire and Dale’s relationship (which he did which is why I follow him now). Email address and all
He has lost it right?
