The reason I ask is I've had people in the past ask if I can make them a hoodie (after seeing one I made for myself) and when I told them $50 (fabric isn't cheap and 3-4 solid hours of work I felt that was reasonable) they were all oh well it looks nice.

$50 is reasonable for a nice hoodie that’s not even handmade so that’s weird. That’s totally reasonable.

I've been working on a quilted tree skirt for years. I put down my sewing and knitting when the toddler took too much time. I'm determined to finish it this next year. My mom and grandmother were hand quilters. So this has all been done by hand.

i made this baby blanket and had extra yarn so i made a matching bear. i didn’t use a pattern at all for either of them so some true @zweber originals right there! the blanket turned out HUGE so it’ll probably be a tummy time mat. and the bear is like 2 feet tall. whoops. 😂

@zweber is rocking the crochet!
I made a handful of octopi, you've seen the little orange guy. One beany and a hat and scarf set with ruffles and a set of baby leggings that I didnt take pics of. Oops
Still working on dhs super long wide scarf. Its basically a long lap afghan I think.
Also did wood burning ornaments and leather ornaments and styrofoam ball wrapped ornaments and helped dh with his rope knot tied wine bottle. Its been like doing christmas crafts with the kids. Lol

I have stitch markers every 10 stitches on almost every project haha I not only forget to count past 10, I forget to add stitch markers. I usually just crochet away and then try to go back and count if it doesn't look right. lol

@zweber you have motivated me. I mean, I don’t have the internet’s most highly anticipated newborn since April the Giraffe gestating in my womb. But your shit is cuuuuute.
I spent the last 6 hours in the car teaching myself to hand crochet my phone’s charging cable. But imma do a headband next! As soon as I get some yarn.

Someone tell me to keep going on my embroidery even though it’s almost impossible to see the pattern on dark navy fabric.

zweber I am super impressed at not only how quickly you picked up a new hobby but by how much you’ve made! It all looks so cute! I never learned to crochet but it’s something I would like to try.
When I make time to craft, I scrapbook and make cards.

Do you have compreasion gloves (not the copper crap, true compression ones)? They were a lifeline when I was pregnant with DS2 and DD, my carpel tunnel was so bad

That will help a ton. You can get them from cvs or Walgreens.
