Morning all.
MH is off for the next month so he got the full experience of mornings with the chaos and drop offs, we'll see how he does tomorrow

We're back to mostly full lockdown here starting yesterday. Schools are still in but the 7-12 have been online since Nov 30th and will be until Jan 8th, the first week after break the elementary will be online, daycares are still open. All gyms, bars, restaurants only take out or delivery, zero social gatherings in side or out, all personal services are closed, retail are 15% of their fire capacity. Really not much changes for me but looks like some people are annoyed, but I'm annoyed that I have been home for fucking 10months and here we are again. If everyone made better choices and the govt stepped up we might be living normal like Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan etc. Anyway, stupid virus.

We have had theme days over here all last week and this week, I printed off the themes per day and it's B's responsibility to check it and see if he wants to do it.
Today is everyone gets a candy cane and to wear red and white, he walked out the door with his Santa hat so I guess he added that too.

H is doing themes this week too. Today is red/green so she wore a green shirt. Tomorrow is plaid so I am going to get her a pair of plaid pants at target.

Normal Monday here; I dropped off the last of the Angel Tree gifts and ran a couple errands. I was looking for a couple baby things for my sister but came up empty... probably need to make the trek to BuyBuyBaby.

Also a themed week at B's school; today is the Gingerbread Run (fundraising for a new outdoor pavilion thing) so he was super excited. They're having a North Pole day, Hanukkah Day, Elf Day, and Hot Cocoa day. Pretty harmless, although he wants an elf hat so we have to go track that down.

Sorry to the newly locked-down folks. So miserable.

Only the teacher participated that day. The kids didn't know what it meant. One kid wore a Christmas sweater, but he didn't want to show anyone because he said it wasn't ugly.

Everyone is eating lunch. M is at school. Soaking up my last week before break. Trying to get presents wrapped but mj keep injuring herself and j is underfoot.

Got my surgery scheduled for January 21st!

There is a black street cat around here, I’ve been seeing it since the summer and I’m pretty sure it doesnt have a home, so I channeled my inner lfig and we did this on Saturday.
And yes, that is insulation.






In my mind my plan is to catch him, check if he is neutered and microchipped/tattooed then if he isnt I’ll pay for the surgery, and if he wants to continue to be an outside feral cat, fine but I’ll feed him and provide a warm/clean place to sleep.

Now. Cats are also assholes, so there is a GREAT chance this mother effer wont want to become part of my Snow White backyard, but I’m going to try.

I saw a tik toc video where someone with the same plan as you did this. In all the videos the cat is sleeping on top of the house lol. Cats are very hard to convince to be loved

The volunteers for the feral cat communities around our neighborhood often ask for those styrofoam coolers to use as insulation for their cat houses. You just set it in the box, put a roof on top, Instant warmness for the kitties.

Awe! Good job vino! Our cat does not use the cat condo we built for her, but she used to. She has a heated cat house and food and water....but she prefers to sit at the back door and look pitiful so we let her in. She now spends about 50% of her time in the house. We keep food and water in the house for her too. But MH refuses to have a litter box and just let her stay in. And when she has to go to the bathroom she comes and sits in front of us and stares at us so we let her out. So we basically have a house trained cat. And she’s not hard to find. She mostly chills here...

Yep, that is exactly what I was going to get following this www.instructables.com/Easy-Winter-Cat-Shelter/, we had all these scrapes around the garage/shed so went for it, I hope he loves it.

Unfortunately I have to get a lift first, but yes. Do it. The consult was a breeze. They make you feel so comfortable. And you're not committed to anything with a consult.

I would love to look proportional but I’m scared of my body rejecting the implants or something. I might go ahead with the consult. Earlier today i showed MH a woman with implants in a bikini and i was like “how would i look with those?!”

The % of complications are insanely low. Thats what I want. I cried happy tears at looking normal.
