C turned 3 today! I can’t believe how fast that went. All he wanted was a candy cane and a vanilla cake with the mean mommy (the stepmom from Cinderella). DH found a set of Cinderella figurines in Target so I just baked a cake and put them on top.

Cadence did so good at swim today. You could see she was really concentrating and trying to do her best. AND THEY PASSED HER!!! She's going to be so excited! Unfortunately the class her friend moved up to is full....I'm not going to tell her that part. 😬

Well my appointment went well but not exactly how I expected. He completely validated everything I have been saying about the size difference and other issues. And its actually worse than I was expecting. I have to have a lift first. Then 90 days later, implants. Otherwise I will end up with waterfall boobs. And the size I'm getting sounds huge, but I literally have 0 breast tissue. And since my frame is not as small as I used to be, he thinks if I go the standard C cup, I won't look proportional. Theres a full 100cc size difference between my left and right. And the lift adds a significant cost. But Alex didn't even bat an eye, i cried happy tears at looking normal and the doctor saying "I see it, it's significant" like everyone keeps telling me it's barely noticeable and not a big deal. And i understand they don't see me naked but its awful.

How soon can you get the first surgery peachsmama? All sounds very exciting. I have to schedule on Monday. Hes hoping early January, that'll put implants at the end of March. I can't be submerged (swim) for 4 weeks. So he wants to stick to that time-line so I'm good by summer. |

Happy Birthday to C kim22! wedding how was your eye exam? My SIL does not have a blood clot, they think it was a muscle spasm. They're keeping her again tonight to control the pain. Said her lungs look the same as 2 weeks ago. Shes apparently going to be on the slower end of the Covid recovery scale. |

Evies PT went well yesterday. I dont think she was entirely honest with the therapist, not knowing what to expect, but she did, and seemed to enjoy, all the exercises. They also set me up on an app to do exercises when we want. She goes back twice next week.
I also talked to the school therapist today. She is going to observe evie at recess and pull her from her class to talk to her more. We are going to develop a 504 plan. Im going to send a few kids books to school for her teacher to read to her class about JIA.

In our school if you have so many absences, even with a dr note, you have to make up the time on Saturday school. I had been trying to remember to get notes after Sierra’s appts and kept forgetting. Then playing catch up because if you don’t have a dr note then you can get turned in for truancy after so many. The principal called me one day and said they were doing a 504 plan in addition to her IEP and I wouldn’t have to worry about the absences or dr notes anymore because they were writing that in somehow. With E’s specialist appts, ophthalmologist appts, PT, and possibly days she isn’t feeling well from the shots, this should def be in there somewhere. |

Thank you lfig! Absences was definitely on my list, besides making accommodations. If I have any questions about what may be covered, can I reach out to you? This is all new to me. I was kind of trying not to do the 504, I've read that many schools push against them. But after talking to a friend who teaches special ed, she told me not to worry about it and push for Evie. |

It is 5 in the morning. I’ve been up since half past twelve, baby girl does not want to sleep-in her crib or in even our bed, she just want to nurse, nurse some more and then some more. My flow is very forceful, so she nurses within 10min or less, but that obviously isn’t satisfying her need to suck. Her diapers suggest she’s getting to much front milk. My goodness I’ve nursed two babies for over 3.5 years combined and I still feeling like a total newb!
