I forgot that your Harry was in this movie and got so excited that you all were suddenly into WWII history with me. 😂 Will sit on the bench with Mr. Patty. I'm on that bench! Have you seen it yet?

We went this weekend and I would highly recommend it. The movie was super intense. DH said that out of all the war movies he's seen this one felt the most like you were right there. It wasn't gory or over dramatic, and there weren't any stupid love stories (I'm looking at you Pearl Harbor).
From the start of the movie you're sitting on pins and needles so seeing Harry was a welcome distraction. The only problem was that I almost yelled "Come on Harry!" during a tense scene. Honestly, I thought he did an excellent job. DH wasn't not previously aware of my crush. I guess I also go for older men and developed a crush on the Navy Commander.
But my favorite character was the dad that was driving his boat out for the rescue. The actor who played the dad played Rudolph Abel in Bridge of Spies. He's great.

I don't think my brain has processed all the scenes with Harry in it...so i'm hoping the second viewing will help me with that. I can't stop thinking about the little boat crew gah!

Sadly, I'm in the "wait for rental" camp for the foreseeable future, because of baby and overworked H, but my dad and my brother saw it. My dad said "different, but good" when I texted him about it. My dad is a WWII buff, to put it lightly, so I'm looking forward to talking to him about it.

I just caught a $5 matinee and loved it all over again. It wasn't as loud as the IMAX showing, so I was able to hear the dialogue better. 10/10

Because my friend mentioned going to a movie and seeing the trailer for it and he said it was SO loud for the fight scenes and such but he couldn't hear much of the talking.

I just saw it and loved it! It was seriously the most intense movie I've ever seen. I was on pins and needles the whole time. I liked that it wasn't gory, that always takes me out of the movie and gives me a sick tummy. Harry was so beautiful and amazing, he did a great job,

It really was an intense film. That's why I had to see it again, because after talking about it, I had a lot of questions about the timelines and dialogue. After seeing it again, I was able to make more sense of what happened when. I was able to catch more stuff that I missed, too.

I could tell MH wasn't understanding the timelines, so I was trying to explain it to him in whispers. I'd like to see it again too, though, because I'm sure there was a ton I missed.

Went to see it tonight and it was amaaaaazing! I wasn't sure if I would like it, war movies aren't always my thing, but it was immersive and so well-done and stressful. It'll absolutely win some Oscars for sound design, editing and cinematography.

I've been trying to find time to go see this. Does Harry have a very big part? Is he in the movie much? I could possibly go see it this Friday with my BF who also wants to see it but I feel like I need to go with my bff who is a big 1D fan (all thanks to me, lol) but it's feeling impossible for her to find time without her kids.

He has a pretty big role. It is definitely worth seeing. There is not much dialogue; so he while he may not have a lot of lines, you get to see his gorgeous face a lot.

I'm looking at you Jack Lowden and Tom GC especially.
