I moved my pt appointment to Friday so that I could cover at work this morning, and since it's Wednesday Cadence is here at the office with me. I had forgotten how hard it is to get her up, ready and out the door early in the morning.
We ding dong ditched the Christmas stuff at my coworker's house. She said her daughter was so excited it and shared it this morning as her "good thing" on her class zoom.

Cadence just realized she left her prized Goodwill cat, Cheeto, at home. I tried to convince her he is perfectly happy at home, snuggled up in her bed, but she doesn't believe me. I should message mh to take Cheeto on some adventures around the house and take pictures I can show her.

Morning! I got both kids off to school and now I'm working from home. Then I'll finish wrapping the christmas presents.

Morning! Yesterday MH and I went and looked at an RV campground on the lake, picked a spot, and put a deposit on a yearly lease....guess what we DON’T have? Did you guess camper? You are correct! We don’t have a camper. So now we are camper shopping. Seems like a fine thing to do while furloughed and not earning any $$.

I started having some terrible side pains yesterday and even considered an ER visit because I could barely walk because it hurt so bad. But I think it’s a diverticulitis attack. So I have been guzzling water, Gatorade, and miralax. If the pain comes back today as bad as it was yesterday I will probably go to the doctor. Just to make sure it’s not my appendix.

I'm working from home today. It's supposed to be a half day with the afternoon off to comp for when I had to work on my Thanksgiving vacation, but with the amount of work that keeps pouring in I'm going to have to fly through it to not work during my comp time.

But at least I'm at home and I never mind it as much here.

Hello. I slept super late. Like an hour over. But MJ and I needed it. So I took M to school 1 minute before the bell and got J to school 4 minutes late. Now I'm following MJ around trying to keep her from destroying my house and getting her her 100th snack of the day. Ever since she weaned I can't seem to fill her up! But she barely eats meals. Feeds everything to the dogs. Then wants snacks all day 🤦‍♀️ and she's cutting a molar so she's once again a snot factory.

I'm dropping the big high chair off to someone when I grab J from school then hitting the grocery store.

lfig I hope you feel better and yay to shopping for RV's! We're doing the same thing, it's so much fun checking out all the layouts and such. What are you guys thinking.

We are looking at something that can fit on the driveway so about 22', this is the one we think we've settled on cause it has a sink in the bathroom, large fridge, tub and shower as opposed to just shower, slide out dining room, double sink in the kitchen and bunks of course.

In my larger work unit there is an extreme party planner, she is annoying af and is super condescending if you aren't interested in what she has planned.

Well in the middle of all this ::waves hands:: she has told us there is a 3 hour ONLINE Christmas party. We have all had to download Among Us, learn how to play and she is setting up rooms, that came with a giant instruction email in font size fucking 7, we have to be logged into the work chat room and playing the game together, I've since learned that there is a chat function on the game but we have to be in the work chat with the cameras on, this is for a total of 1 hr (depending on the 'fun level' which of course is determined by her). Then we'll move into Christmas BINGO where she will manage the game, call out numbers etc, and we have to print off shit at home to be a part of this, there is also an online puzzle that she has created for us to go in and other print offs for us to 'enjoy'.

You guys, my cup is running over as it is and this is the exact opposite of what I want to do this afternoon, it is causing me stress and anger! I dont have time to play online games, thats not my life. I am now fully convinced that what she does here is 100% without a doubt fully self serving. She needs the constant recognition of 'whoa you're awesome for setting this up' and I am feeling some way about all of it.

I got the kids off to school and mailed out my holiday cards this morning. Now working from home. I've been volunteered to help with accounting due to the fact that a lot of them are still furloughed so I'm learning how the system here works.

MH left for a trip where he has 3 jobs in 8 days in 2 states and I am a little nervous with the Covid numbers. He's careful, but still. there are so many variables we just can't control. So I'll be over here stress eating.

We are torn on it. We listed it this fall just to see what would happen, but now it’s stored for the winter. The kids love it, which is the only thing holding us back, but we just don’t get enough use out of it. And we both feel more stressed than relaxed when it comes to camping, which just takes the joy out of it. We said if we sell it, we’ll still make it a goal to camp at least once a summer in either a rental or camper cabin that a lot of state parks have.

Well, we are looking at used. It’s going to sit on the lake lot year round and we likely won’t do a ton of traveling with it. So we just need something functional. My requirements are: clean, doesn’t leak, has bathroom and shower. We typically go to the lake about 2x a month. But I think we would go more if we have a camper that’s ours. That we can leave some stuff at. We are kind of looking at the travel trailers that don’t have any slide outs because they can leak around the slides and we don’t want to have to put them in and out every time. We want to pull in and be able to not have to do any set up, ect. We are looking to spend anywhere between $5000-$8000. We have till about March to find something (that’s when MH starts crappie fishing and going to the lake a lot). So we are just watching Craigslist and marketplace for the right thing to pop up.

ETA: it’s hard to commit to dumping too much $$into it. I mean, we have 3 vehicles for 2 people. 2 boats (a lake boat and a river boat), and MH has 2 businesses in addition to his “real” job keeping us busy. This is his idea, and I support it and am excited for it...but I also know that sometimes things like this fizzle out a lot. So if it turns out to not fizzle out, I’d love to upgrade down the road.

Morning. Baby girl is keeping us on our toes during the night, she does not like to sleep in her co-sleeper. Part of it is my ‘fault’ I do not want to put her down during the day, I want all the snuggles. This is my last baby (I think 🙄) and I’m savouring every minute of it .

vino, big nope to that. Way to suck the fun out of a party. I've never Amonged Us but that doesn't seem like something you can play for an hour...especially when you don't know what you are doing. All I know is Red is sus.

Years ago we did paintball for a work party. I purposefully went after a coworker who was on my team but a total dick.

We have tossed the idea of a camper around for a few years, but like slenle, it's a lot of work and not as relaxing as I always want it to be. Plus, I'm hungover AF by the end of the weekend and stowing everything away, in the heat and humidity, is the last thing I want to do. I'll take my lake days where we just go down for a day, hang out on the boat, then come home to our house!
