We’ve talked about what the kids are getting. But what’s on your list?! I want to give Dh ideas but I don’t even know...
My cordless vacuum is on its last leg and an air fryer would be nice, but I want to suggest more exciting things than that!

Air pods Tory burch small crossbody and wallet New laptop and iPad Gift cards to the garden center New shoes Jewelry—mothers necklace and some new earrings Fireplace for the built-ins in the basement New living room and dining room furniture Cash

I have nothing on my list. My mom called to ask me what I wanted today, and I told her just to get me a gift card to Loft or Gap or something.
I want a few new hoodies since I'm at home all the time, but I will probably just buy them. Maybe I'll put one on MH cc and tell him that's what he is getting me lol.
In the mean time, I'll be stalking your ideas to see if anything jumps out at me.

My ILs are replacing some of our cookware - they're great for that practical stuff, they just prefer us to give them the specific items we want.
I keep an Amazon list that I can share with DH and my Mom. This year was pretty random - a few winter pieces for running and skiing, some earrings and a bangle bracelet, a book for work, a new duffle, and a couple sweaters. I also asked for a few new pairs of soft pants since I will be working from home for a loooong time, but those are still sitting on my list. I find that the longer I'm home, the less I want to wear real clothes.

I asked Alex for a gold chain. Mine broke and I don't have a nice one for my pendants. I asked my mil for target gift cards to get new bras.

We decided to not give each other presents this year. I’m taking a four month unpaid leave next year. Since neither of us are willing to compromise on vacation etc. we need to cut costs elsewhere 😂. For Sinterklaas I got things that I would normally just buy, socks, daycreme & a family planner.
We got a 7inch Coldplay Christmas lights (the best Christmas song ever) single that we wanted for years and we’ll put that under the three for the both of us. It wasn’t expensive, but it is of huge sentimental value to us.

I can’t think of anything exciting I want. I asked for
An iPad and Apple Pencil (to be used for teaching) A new feather pillow (I love mine but it’s so old I’m embarrassed by it) We bought 12 new plain white dishes yesterday that I will tell DH he can wrap if he needs stuff We need a new bathroom rug and new bath towels (also embarrassingly poor condition) Usually, I want new clothes but since I hardly leave the house and I’m not at the weight I want to be, I feel they are a waste. I also usually ask for something like Broadway tickets but that’s also a no go this year.
I turn 40 in June so I’m hoping I’ll be nice and vaccinated and I can do all the things.

I just had a bday and received: the previously mentioned miracle hair-dryer/round brush contraption, Ugg slippers, a new robe, and one of those Simple Human light-up magnifying vanity mirrors. My parents and ILs did Dillards gift cards so I'm good there.
For Christmas I'm asking for jewelry from DH. I found a list of '10 classic pieces every woman should have' and I want to start working on that. I need to go to a jeweler and find some specifics to send him.
Otherwise: Perfume new sheets for our bed design books gift card for Framebridge or similar (I have *so* many things I need framed)

We need new towels and dishes too but hell no to that being a gift for me. Those are house “needs.”
The things I want: -Tesla sweatshirt -Tula under eye brightener -IT cosmetics travel brush set -Charlotte Tilbury lip trio -Ravens face masks -gc to medspa where I get Botox
And if I get any sort of EOY Xmas bonus, I’m buying myself the strathberry stylist clutch (which is currently 50% off on their website)!

I have nothing on my list...my mom was pretty easy to tell a few things. But MIL, I am having a hard time. I'm thinking a stand mixer, but although I would love a Kitchen Aid one, I don't need anything that expensive for something I would use a handful of times annually. Does anyone have one that was around $100 they would recommend?
I bought Chiefs tickets to the 12/27 game, which is perfect since H's birthday is the 29th. Told him it's his Christmas and birthday present...he was not impressed but whatever.

My parents do a lot of house gifts, but they're for the couple, not just me! And I love it because she gets really nice stuff that I likely wouldn't buy myself. I love the Tula under eye brightener. I want the under eye masks.

wineallthetime, generally our parents do a lot of house gifts too. My dad will work off a list if I give him one, but I took one for the team and asked for a new light fixture for our dining room since mh acts like coming up w a list is a Herculean effort. 😒 The above list is for mh. He doesn’t get off easy by buying towels and saying it’s a gift for me.

No husband should be buying his wife towels or something unless it's some super fancy splurge towel (is that a thing?) that she requested and only SHE gets to use it.

mwhip,I am jealous you can still go to in person NFL games! They were allowing a few fans for a while here but then stopped it again once covid cases started going back up.

I think they're allowing 25% of capacity. Since my boss is a season ticket holder, she got first dibs. We are sitting in the club level since they were only $30 more a ticket, which will mean even less people on that level. Hopefully nothing changes between now and then...football will be the one normal thing we are able to do!

I bought a tan handbag there a year ago and I’ve been so happy w it that I’m ready for another. I want yellow as a fun, going out clutch.... whenever that can happen again....

-Combo coffee/ espresso maker. Any brand recommendations? -Dyson cordless stick -Patagonia crew sweatshirt -Sorel boots -revlon hair thing -earrings -Botox -silk pillow case -Boot socks

Super boring this year— I asked for fuzzy socks, a heated blanket, new slippers, a college sweatshirt (mine are in tatters, but I still love them), a larger curling wand, a personalize serving board, and a necklace.
