I'm going to message evies rheumatologist this weekend and push for physical therapy. Her teacher sent me the below message and I almost cried. She said nothing before she left for school, so why is she telling her teacher more than me?
Today Evie was telling me a few things that made me sad. She said, "I just don't like to run anymore, it hurts too much". "I woke up and my knee hurts bad today". "I want to not hurt anymore". I feel so sad for her.
Her teacher emails me to keep the communication open, which I'm glad for. But I feel so bad that I dont know these things.

Poor girl mwhip. Maybe she doesn't tell you because she's afraid she'll have to go to the Dr. again. PT might be a good idea. I hope they can recommend someone. |

Aww mwhip I’m sorry she is still in so much pain and that she hasn’t told you. Maybe she’s trying to be brave for you or worried she will miss out on things? Lots of ❤️. I would have a hard time digesting that as well. |

Awww mwhip I’m sorry she is still in pain. I’m sure you will think of ways you can encourage her to share when she is hurting. Is she able to take any Tylenol or ibuprofen on the bad days? |

mwhip I’m so sorry she’s still struggling with pain. And that she hasn’t told you. I’m sure like others said, she is probably just trying to be brave, and afraid of not being able to go do things. Much love to you guys.

Poor, E! mwhip. So sorry you guys are going through this. I wonder if it just hits her harder at school seeing all the other kids running/jumping/ect and it prompted her to tell her teacher how she was feeling. |

Awww mwhip I’m sorry she is still in pain. I’m sure you will think of ways you can encourage her to share when she is hurting. Is she able to take any Tylenol or ibuprofen on the bad days? She takes indomethacin twice a day already, which is an anti inflammatory. I can give her Tylenol, I've given it for headache before. wineallthetime I do think seeing all the other kids, doing normal kid things, is part of it. I posted about PT on a JIA FB page last night and a lot of parents recommend PT, said it helped there kids a lot. She woke me this morning at 630 in front of the toilet. So we are sitting in the hallway with Ritz crackers and water. I hate this for her. |

I hate that she's in pain mwhip. I agree with both klong11 and wedding. She hates the doctor so that may be why she's not telling you. But whatever the reason, it would be hard to digest. You're a great mom and you'll do anything you can to help her. |

Portrait of Pet Art shop on Etsy. linkI ended up just getting the digital image from the shop and ordered the canvas from Costco because I wasn't sure if the canvas would make it to me fast enough other wise. The guy was really quick with the digital image (maybe 1.5 days after I sent pictures). Thanks. Send me yours again if you don't mind. I'll show him and judge his reaction if I should buy one lol I hope he likes it. They're fun. (: I'm at my other job now so I can't upload it, but it was on the 3rd page of the Thursday thread. |
