Speaking of hair, has anyone else tried the Revlon dryer/brush in one? My sister got me one for my bday and I'm hooked! My hair looks like my stylist just did it. One tool vs. using my dryer, straightener, and hot rollers for the same 'look'--I'm sold. Link please.

My friend asked me about that revlon dryer brush end of last year. One of our coworkers had started using it and she said her hair looked amazing and she thought I should try it because she thinks my hair would look amazing, too. I wasn’t sold on it because I had previously heard mixed reviews, but my mom asked me what I wanted the other day and since I have no clue what to tell her, I will send her that Amazon link mwhip posted. Lol I’ll be trying it out after Christmas 😁

I just got Christmas card pics done so I will try to order them by this weekend. There was some Christmas event at a shopping village, so we went right at open time to get the pics in Santa’s sleigh and grab our hot chocolate and then we left before any crowd arrived. It was going to start raining at any moment anyway, so there may not even be a crowd.
I also found out my city is doing a reverse parade this Saturday for the annual Christmas parade at a park nearby. Sounds like you can drive through the Christmas decorations and whatnot, so we’ll be doing that this weekend.

If you want to swoon over some adorable dogs and cats the shelter that I mentioned yesterday that is amazing (super nice with large enclosures for all the animals) is doing their annual Home for the Holidays campaign in which they greatly reduce adoption fees in hopes of giving long term residents a home for the holidays. The holiday pictures are adorable. I totally want Luciana. Humane Societysafehavenhumane.org/home-for-holidays-adoption-campaign/I saw no Luciana. Maybe she was adopted? The first few cats do not look healthy. Maybe upper respiratory infections? Either way they are not likely to get adopted with those pics. The dogs are super cute though. I like that little Olive. She looks like a Pit mixed with a Jack Russel. I goofed. It was Lucina. safehavenhumane.org/adopt/animals/45361197/Yeah. Those cats need some love. They usually don't list ones that have current health issues so that kind of surprised me. I was there about 2 months ago and they didn't have most of these pets so I'm wondering if some were from another shelter. |

Mallory just shoved her hand in a poopy diaper. That was also a pooplosion that required the carpet to be cleaned after..... I'll be in the corner drinking a margarita if you need me.

Try not drinking much too. When I was sick and unable to keep anything down while S was nursing my supply dropped drastically. I think that's her goal. She's weaning M. I know, that’s why I suggested it. |

I had a very traumatic night at work. I was training again and we were checking in a laboring mom. Her contractions were close together and I could tell she was uncomfortable. The tech came down, got her in the elevator and about 15 seconds later we heard a loud scream. Shortly after that a visitor pushed the button on the elevator to go up...the door opened and there was the mom holding her new baby in the wheelchair. This was the first time I’ve had as close of a call as that. I’m just glad there was a nurse with her and not me. It took a long time for my heart rate to slow down. The tech came down later and told us that she suddenly stood up, screamed as her water broke, pulled her shorts aside and she could see the head. It was right at shift change so a nurse that was leaving ran to help along with a midwife that was teaching a class across the hall. The tech went running to get blankets and missed the elevator ride. The husband and her doula were with her to help too.

Her husband came down to run out to the car about an hour after she delivered and it sounded like everything was going well. I am going to sleep shortly because I couldn’t focus long enough to watch a tv show. |

My friends doctor caught her baby in her tennis clothes. They called her on their way and she left the gym. She barely got in a hospital bed and boom. Baby. She hadn't even put gloves on! We joked that my body was made for carrying babies, since no one wanted to exit! And she was made for birthing them. None of her deliveries took longer than 5 minutes.. Glad you didn't have to catch a baby trtlcrzy ! |

Home for Christmas. It's really, really good. It's a quick watch because there aren't many episodes. Awesome. I just found a show called Love that looks good so I’ll give that a shot first. Have you seen it? Ooh. Haven't watched it yet but it's a Judd Apatow production and I usually enjoy his stuff. |
