I’m in a two day training webinar and it’s a huge group of people. There was pre-reading and it’s so obvious how few people did it. I’m so annoyed because it keeps getting derailed with questions that would have been answered if people read the shit.

I could just really put a hurting on some egg rolls right now. I feel this way 24/7. Still looking for good options here - I maybe just need to dedicate a day to visit all the grocery stores?

WHY does the 6 year old never stop talking or making noise. It is even in his sleep. My ears are bleeding.

Had E at the eye doctor this morning. He was so happy with her progress and she is DONE patching! She’s been patching 2, 6, and sometimes even 12 hours a day for the last 2 1/2 years. Both eyes are now seeing the same but she will continue the glasses full time. He said by 8-10 years old 90% of kids will have straight eyes without the help of glasses. 🤞
I cried when we got in the car. I’m so relieved and happy that we had doctors that believed we could fix the issue without surgery.

pbandj714 how are you all doing? I'm dying to know how having one baby compares to twins. Sorry I've been MIA. Tapa was acting hateful and I never have a chance to be on my laptop. Anyway, we're good! Recovery this time was a little harder than last time but I'm feeling much better now. I feel like I was sitting here with my tits out 24/7 for the first few weeks. Triple feeding was killing me. H was/is an incredibly lazy nurser with a shallow latch so I started exclusively pumping and am very happy with that decision. He finally seems to be gaining weight and I'm relieved. He's so so chill, so other than adjusting to all the pumping, it's MUCH easier than twin babies. My Elvie pump has been pretty clutch for pumping while I drive the bigs to/from school.

Sigh, feeling slightly nauseous and tired. Powering through a martial arts class for C, then I’m crawling into bed and drinking a ginger ale. Hoping tomorrow is not worse.

Whoa. Recently I've been googling job applicants when they apply. But I've only occasionally done it in the past. So tonight I googled a couple past and current employees that I thought might turn up some results. One employee turned up a TW-level crime as well as a minor kids-doing-stupid-shit crime. The latter was definitely him, but the first really shocked me. I felt the need to dig in farther and I'm glad I did. It wasn't the same guy, in spite of the fact that these two guys have the same name and almost the same birthday (just a few months apart). I found a picture of the TW guy on a sex offender registry. But damn, I'm sure that my employee has had a hard time getting employment because of the other guy. That has to really suck.

Anybody have any fitted diapers they want to unload? Looking for small workhorses with snaps or anything comparable. Figured I’d check here first before buying new.

S and I have started weekly daytime dates and today, we did an Amazon Explore cooking lesson with a lady in Argentina. It was a video lesson (we could see her, but no video from our end, so she could only hear us). She taught us to make authentic empanadas. They turned out super tasty and we got to learn the history behind empanadas and learn about the different dough techniques. So fun and definitely tasty!

I emailed the house builder. Waiting for the sticker shock. Depending on the answer we may have to back out of moving to the property.

Well, crap. How do I choose between two local artisans? I'm ordering a cutting board for S for his b-day, and I contacted two different people about the project. Both can get it done in time. Both quoted me the same price for the size I'm looking for. Both can add the groove details to it. Both have been very responsive.
And now I'm feeling anxious about how to choose one, and then how to tell the other that I've decided to go with someone else 😬

Both were recommended by local moms. One has great reviews. One seems to be a pretty new business so they don't have reviews, but they have recommends on FB. I have not flipped a coin. The local Mom (who's been really responsive) just replied saying a single slab would end up being a little more expensive than a butcher block style. So maybe the other guy is the one to go with? But then I have to bail on the Mom.

Luckily, the guy mentioned that the size I want would be stupidly heavy for live edge. And that he isn't making butcher blocks at the moment. And the lady mentioned butcher block had a faster turnaround time. So I am going with her and just put down a deposit (MH's birthday is just a couple weeks away). 18"x24" ombre style butcher block with juice grooves! I think S is going to be happy with it😊

Just impulsively booked flights for a trip at the end of February 2022. No clue if it will happen but really needing something amazing to looks forward to and the deal will never be beat. At least it has free changes, so if it can’t happen, we can always use the credit for something else. 😬

Fergus has been able to easily open the interior doors of our house since pretty much immediately after we moved in. He's really quiet about it so I rarely even hear him doing it.
Yesterday he managed to open an exterior door and escape from the house. W T F?!
We were in the driveway chatting with neighbors and so he wanted to come out, I don't *think* he would just randomly decide to escape but we have to work with him so he learns he is not allowed to open doors. Things I never expected to have to worry about! The poodle be poodling.

mc13 sounds awesome! I kinda want to book something for the end of 2022. We’ve never been on a family vacation with either of the kids. Hopefully by the end of 2022 it’ll be safe & also hopefully I will be able to control my wild child DS2 a little better by then 😂. milano you need to baby proof your doors for the pup lol.
