Is Prince Albert wearing crocs? Wtf? Cute dog. Yes. Yes, he is. He even matched his crocs to his outfit. 😬

The only pics where Albert doesn’t 100 come across as a total dick. They look to be having some fun. Maybe a glimpse of why she married him. Maybe he wasn’t so “I am the patriarch “ once upon a time.

Merry Christmas from Charlene and family: I absolutely love everything about this picture and it almost makes me forget how much I don't like him. And I love his coordinating crocs.

I also like the Albert/Charlene photos but man, Stephanie looks mighty harsh.
She seems like a case study of a privileged life is not necessarily an easy life.
Based on a photo, of course.

FYI: I googled the Monaco Christmas pictures to find out who everyone was. Albert’s sister Stephanie, 52 is in the candy cane sweater and the rest are her kids and DIL. And Prince Albert is 62?!!! Charlene is 42.

Charlene is 42. The Grimaldis lived hard when they were younger. I remember there always being a scandal around one or another. My aunt was a Grace Kelly superfan and read all the tabloid stories about her kids.

I adore wisteria. It’s not very Christmassy, but I would want to use that picture, too, the flowers are so pretty. the thing about wisteria is that it takes a long time to mature/ establish and flower like that. So we all think- hmmm maybe I should grow a wisteria arch. In reality, we need to be a royal with a gardener to pamper it to a trellis and 50 years to get it to grow up our castle wall to take that photo

Where I live it's considered a bit of a hassle as it grows fast (1- 1.5 meters a year) and it's very poisonous. It can easily take over the wall of a house after a few years but I think it always looks nice on a trellis. But where I live it's very rainy so maybe that's why it grows so well?

Same here, it's a vibe that can be invasive but it's gorgeous in bloom. It grows wild on the side of the freeway, so pretty in the spring.

We have one and it just does its thing, we trim it a few times and it looks great in summer. But the Netherlands is wet.

My british husband and MIL decided to plant wisteria along our backyard fence. It is OUT OF CONTROL. And not in a good way. We live in Atlanta. I can't stand it, it is pretty when it blooms (but that isn't very long) but it grows absolutely crazy and I don't have time to go out every day and cut it.

I’m catching up.
Charles and Camilla’s canes seem like those that have the hollowed insides for whiskey and whatnot.

Also Im totally jealous of the wisteria growers. Its definitely a plant that needs to be babied along here. So, tgrimes, maybe I haven't ruined your life after all.

The Sussex Fam could have put out a card that was just Text that said Merry Christmas and you guys would love and defend it. I’d love to see them squinting in the sun. Then I could see them. This could be said for either side of fans. Also I absolutely believe if they put out a full face picture of Archie everyone (maybe not here) would have said something about them putting him out there when they supposedly want privacy Is it my favorite no but I love it for what it is

People talk shit about the Cambridge family every year for using their kids as props. People talk shit about the Sussex family because “they want privacy”. Charles and Camilla get shit for just being Charles and Camilla. Hell, even the Queen was heckled so much for not having a picture of the Harry and Meghan on her desk at the Christmas speech that she said fuck this, and made us stare at Philip and only Philip. For the record, I would defend no one for a card that was just text that said “merry Christmas”. 😂 I’d hate that more than the Sussex paintbrush nonsense. My favorite will always be the “olds squinting in the sun” now. It makes me laugh so much. Someday when my husband and I are olds I’m going to make him take a picture like that with me for my own joy.

I will always prefer cards that look intentional over ones that seem like an after thought. I don’t care whose family is on it. Randomly picking a photo from some point in the year will never get a yes from me. Save the squinting in the sun olds for IG. It’s cute there.

As somebody who has only gotten her act together to send electronic holiday cards a whopping 4 times as an adult, I remain impressed by any and all cards.
