I also didn't realize there was a limit on characters in titles. That should say FUN.
I'm getting my hair cut and colored this morning. We are taking Evie to a safe Santa where she can take her mask off, but they won't be too close, later this afternoon.
Hoping the washer repair guy can get out today to put the water pump on and finish laundry in my own house today, otherwise I have a few loads to take to my moms.

A is making a big breakfast on the blackstone and then I'm taking Matthew to be tested at 11:30. I'm 99% sure we all just had colds/croup but don't want to chance it. I hate that a cold or sore throat scares me now.

Currently, I have a mask on my face, the sheets are in the washer and I'm about to eat some biscuits and gravy. Then I'll clean up the house. I need to stop by Target because of course the barbie M has to have isn't available for store pick up and I can't find it anywhere else without spending $$$. Who knew the pink haired travel barbie was such a hot commodity.

I broke down yesterday and bought that stupid Lol OMG house for the girls for Christmas because it was on sale with a free item. They are getting so much stuff. They're spoiled, but they'll be really happy.
No clue what we're doing today. I wish I could convince my lazies to hike.

I just checked Target's website again and it allowed me to do curbside pickup! It's a christmas miracle!

peachsmama I feel you... every sniffle/sneeze worries me, never would I have thought that I would long for the feeling that a cold was simply a cold. tgrimes for a minute I was thinking ‘that’s a bit extreme, why wear a mask in your own home...?’ 🤦🏼♀️.

I took a step out of my baby bubble today & went to my parents (which is a whopping 200 yards from my own house), so baby girl had her first sniff of outdoor air & time in a carrier.
I hate hate hate the stressed out feeling every single outing or visit is giving me. I went from not being fearful in March to being scared of every interaction & the internal struggle is killing me. My parents are sort of in my safe bubble, we’re not hugging and mostly keep our distance, they see the kids most days & I want them to be able to snuggle our girl without me worrying. I want people to come to our house so I can show off this perfect little baby. I miss my friends and my sisters. Rant over.

Morning. DH is working again today. We are just having a lazy day. After dh gets home I’m going to run to a couple of local stores to get a few presents. I feel like this is the year to shop local if you can. I also want to get the tree up today for sure. My motivation is low for some reason, normally I am gung ho to get this done.

The clinic I scheduled at, when I got there refused to test him because he's a child. So I'm at childrens hospital now. He did amazing for the test and we'll know by 5pm tomorrow.

Hiiii. I got in my run then got started on the tree as soon as DH took the boys to the barber. It took ages because a couple branches weren't lighting up. I watched a few videos and tried to debug and got nowhere, so I put the dark branches in the back. But everything is done except the outdoor lights, which aren't all here yet.
I really need to get started on my shopping, I've barely done a thing. Getting the tree up makes it feel imminent so I gotta get moving!!

Hi everyone. We got our tree today, which put me in the mood to decorate the house, so I’ve been doing that all afternoon. We will decorate the tree tonight after dinner.
Thankfully the weather has been great so the kids have been playing outside and giving me space. I aloo ordered my cards from Walgreens photo this morning and they’ll be ready for pick up tonight! I hope to have them out late next week!

I got my grocery shopping done when I left work and just came back from a workout. My mom sent me home with the ham, so I took all the meat off and made a ham bone soup. It was my first time trying it and it came out good. Not sure if anyone else in my household will eat it, but if not it will be my lunch for the week.
I have some laundry to do and catching up on TV the rest of the day.

The girls have been watching other kids on YouTube with elves on a shelf and now they want one. I have been firmly against them and really don’t want to get it. I will not be doing any antics, it will literally just sit on a shelf if I do cave and get one. I think H sees these kids on YouTube and thinks that is exactly what will happen for her. She is gonna be sorely disappointed.

I’m very anti-elf on the shelf. We got one as a gift. It was given to another family that wanted one. I felt a little bad but I knew C wouldn’t do anything for it and I didn’t need another thing to do during December.

We watched Black Beauty on Disney + this morning. It was really good. It had Ser Friendzone from GoT. I kept having to explain to the girls it wasn't a rip off of Free Rein.

No. They didn't think I had it since I'm fine today. All 3 kids are still coughing, have sore throats and runny noses. Seems like they need better info on COVID since you can have few or no symptoms. That’s kind of scary if there’s clinics out there that aren’t getting that. Not that you necessarily have it. And I don’t blame you for the lack of knowledge. I would just expect more from medical professionals at this point. Maybe they are only testing symptomatic people? |

The Elf keeps C in line. He doesn’t play games. Just moves each night. He watches C and reports back nightly. I told him that the elf was coming any day now and he yelled “NOOO!!” Oh yes kid, oh yes! 🤫
