Hope it’s just a cold. . peachsmama Weird how you all get cold symptoms on the same day! Sounds like a lot of last minute cancellations. I totally get it. My grandparents decided to stay home, which is for the best, so we’ll drop them food at their house. It will just be us, my mom, and my brother’s fam and we will set up the eating table outside since it’s supposed to be 75. My dad’s cousin just passed today. Not covid, but he had triple bypass recently and never recovered from the procedure. So sad. I spent time around him when I was young, but have not been around that side of the family in years. No hair pats needed. My dad was kind of down yesterday because he found out a work friend from his old job died of Covid and now this. He likes being around the boys because they lift his spirits, so I’m glad we came now. So sorry for your dads loss. Glad he's there with you guys. Super weird about how we all got symptoms. Matthew woke me up at 6 with a tissue in my face to tell me he needed to blow his nose lol

@peachesmama didn’t you babysit your friends kids yesterday? I hope it’s not COVID and you all feel better soon.

We decided to go to my sister’s tomorrow. They have tents and heaters and we plan to stay outside even though it is supposed to rain. Today T and C had their check ups. C just went to bed in underwear for the first time so fx I’m not changing sheets all night. It’s been a little over 2 weeks since we started potty training and I’m used to my other kids needing over a year to be dry at night after they were day trained but his pull up has been dry all but two days so I’m giving it a try.

@peachesmama didn’t you babysit your friends kids yesterday? I hope it’s not COVID and you all feel better soon. Not friends, well they are now. But yes. They're both nurses and I baby sit when their schedules over lap. About once every other week. I talked to him after I talked to the pedi. He's an ICU nurse, working with covid patients every day. Based on our limited symptoms and how we feel, he thinks we're in the clear. But agrees with playing it safe until we get tested and it comes back. I met him through another friend that's a nurse. They work together and he mentioned to her how his childcare up and quit when shit hit the fan in March. Turns out he lives 5 minutes from me.

Well M's 14 day quarantine ends on Friday and him, J, MJ and I all woke up with symptoms. So since my mom watched them while I got my filling fixed on Monday, she cancelled hers. I told MIL we weren't coming. I placed a grocery delivery order and had them leave it in the garage to avoid contact. So now I'm making a full feast for the 5 of us. But A and I are starting a diet on Monday so we are FEASTING this weekend lol. Are symptoms are super mild. Sore throat, runny nose and cough. I feel basically fine. Kids are all snot factories. My gut is telling me cold/croup combo but I'm not risking it. We'll have a weekend at home and Saturday M and I will get tested. I really think I have strep and if he has it then the other kids do too. No reason to traumatize them all. Sorry you all are sick. My friend got her positive test by going to the doc for what she thought was strep so I wouldn’t rule it out.

I don’t know if I mentioned but tonight is night one of sleep training V. We have a good stretch of time that I’ll be home to do the first several nights. I hope this improves night sleep, because I have forgotten what it’s like to get a full nights sleep. I’m going to bed shortly because I have the early shift tomorrow. mwhip I’m glad she is home! I hope she keeps getting better and your bro too.

Getting MJ to sleep wasn't terrible. Took a little over an hour.
